Full-Time Liveable Lorry Conversion, Ready for Adventure or Off-Grid Living
Beautifully converted and fully self-built lorry, designed for full-time living or comfortable family adventures. Sleeps four with plenty of space and home-style comforts throughout.
The lorry sleeps 4 people very comfortably with a full size double bed which can be moved out the way, via remote controlled rams, above the living area for daytime living. In the rear of the vehicle, there is a bunk with 2 full size single beds. There is plenty of storage space including under beds, under the seating area and also cupboards. In the bathroom there is a full-size shower, sink and chemical toilet.
The kitchen is a Howdens build and features a cooker with grill, hob and fridge. There is a sink with a pull-out mixer tap. The table in the living area can be removed if required.
Utilitywise, there are two large lithium batteries and solar panels on the roof making the lorry capable of off-grid living. For water storage, there is a 200L water tank and a gas boiler for heating water on demand.
We have stayed in this lorry during winter and summer and have found it to fully meet our requirements, be it warm and cosy or cool and airy. The lorry features 40mm insulation throughout accompanied by a diesel heater for cooler periods.
Mechanically the lorry has been excellent – we have recently toured Europe without any issues. Prior to the trip, the lorry was fully checked by an HGV mechanic; everything that needed attention has been done including: brand new tyres all round, new coolant pipes and new exhaust. The current MOT expires 31st October, but a new MOT will be provided for the buyer.
In the cab, 2 additional seats have been fitted to allow for 4 person capacity and additional cameras have been fitted to display rear and left-hand side blind-spots and also extra reverse lights have been fitted on the exterior.
The lorry has been fully converted by myself – I know every inch of it so any questions please ask. Only selling as the kids have started school and my self-employed business has taken off, leaving little time to travel as intended. No silly offers.
