Newly personalised Peugeot AutoSleeper Pollensa 4 Berth, one 2 person bed above the driving seats and another large King Size+ bed made from the seats in the lounge space.
We have lived in this motorhome whilst travelling the UK and are selling before we move abroad but have loved every minute spent in this fantastic vehicle and have truly made it a home from home.
Service and MOT due Feb 2024, it has recently been given a new starter motor and battery, and had its alternator reconditioned. It operates as a manual gearbox with 5 gears. The motorhome can be run off both gas and/or electric hookup. Electric hook up has 3 phase plug and an adaptor to fit regular plug sockets.
Fully functioning shower, toilet, bathroom sink, oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, kitchen sink, heater, water pump and water heater. 4x regular plug sockets also fully functioning. There is also an aerial plug if you would like to have a TV installed, however we found that when we were out in nature we did not need a TV and a small tablet was enough for us in the evenings.
The motorhome also comes with an awning and privacy tent. Can be either used open as a sun cover or as a full room with 4 sides and curtains. Bike rack is installed on the back and holds 3 bikes. We have also bought new locks for the bike rack.
Brand new carpet laid in the front of the vehicle, vinyl flooring in the back and new covers on the seats. There is plenty storage to live in this vehicle including one large storage cupboard. 6 overhead cupboards, a large kitchen cupboard, bar area and overhead bar storage also. As we were 2 living from it we also used the overhead bed area for extra storage when travelling.
The motorhome has been hand painted with enamel paint to show a gorgeous beach wave effect and is named by us ‘Connie Rogers’.
Connie has an extremely low mileage for her age and is why she is in such a great condition for a 2001 vehicle. Mileage currently sits at 38,055 miles and has only had 2 previous owners before us. The motorhome has obviously been well taken care of before us and as such is displayed in the condition. There are no dents or damages to the vehicle.
We have personally loved the size of this motorhome as most new motor homes are much larger to drive on the roads and are harder to drive around those smaller little quaint villages that we have been lucky to visit.
Front seats are super comfortable to sit in and we absolutely love driving Connie. You can drive this size vehicle with a regular license.
Road tax is approx £350 per annum, our insurance was approx £600 for 2 people aged 27&30 with no claims history. It runs at approx 30MPG. We comfortably travel in this at a pleasant speed of 60mph on the motorway, although it can go faster, we just love the relaxed vibe of a long journey in this beauty.
2 levelling ramps for the wheels are included, as well as stabilisers on the back. A sun shield cover for the front of the motorhome. All windows have a sun shield and a privacy shield.
There are a few pleasant little areas that are an ode to its old style, such as the green carpets on the base by the floor, the original seat covers on the top bed and original kitchen area, including the original stow away dining table.
The motorhome has been deep cleaned professionally with rug doctor and is in a lovely clean condition. The oven is in impeccable order considering the age and has hardly been used.
Gas cupboard can hold 2x 6kg gas canisters. We found that one 6kg gas can lasted us 2 months whilst we were living in it.
Service History and all Manuals are kept in the vehicle as well as receipts to prove new updates (starter motor/alternator/battery).
