Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

2.0-litre diesel engine with 5-speed manual gearbox. Returns around 30-35 mpg. The engine is in excellent condition – starts first time, every time – and it’s been regularly maintained with full service history. MOT is valid until February 2026. EGR valve & timing belt kit with water pump has been done in 2022.

The van’s been a camper and a car since 24,000 miles, so it’s led a gentler life than most vans of this age. Now on 60,000 miles, but the bodywork and overall cosmetic condition is excellent – clean, tidy, and clearly looked after. A solid, reliable base vehicle in great condition.

Conversion Description

2016 VW T6 LWB swamper style cosy campervan

This van has been a camper van since 24,000 miles, and thoroughly looked after and enjoyed up until its current mileage of 60,000. The paintwork and cosmetic condition of the van reflects that this has been used as a car for nearly all its life

The van was bought and converted by a family friend and enjoyed as a weekend getaway van for 5 years. They had decided to sell it and convert a new van, so I jumped at the chance to own it and have done for the last 3 months. I purchased the van in between selling my old Defender and the purchase of a newer T6.1 which I am converting currently. I have used the van for weekend adventures to the Lake District and up to Northumberland. I wanted a converted van to test out what and plan for my own self build conversion on the new van, and have enjoyed my time with this van.
