Conversion Description

We are reluctantly selling our 2 berth campervan which we converted in 2021. The van was converted to the highest standards and we have refinished it to bring it back to its original condition. We designed it to be used for months at a time off grid and have spent 3 summers doing so. The design is well considered to be used in the UK and abroad come rain or shine.

Cab

The standard Citroen Relay cab has a double passenger seat, so is perfect to use as a day to day vehicle. We have added a mounted monitor for the rear camera. We have a tracker fitted to the battery for which the new owner could take out a subscription for. There is additional storage above the cab.

Bathroom

The Bathroom area features:
– Cold and hot water shower supplied from the Whale water heater.
– Extract fan
– Removable composting toilet
– Removable wooden shower tray protector

Kitchen

The kitchen area features:
– 1 large drawer
– 3 overhead cupboards
– Large under sink cupboard for bin and general storage
– 1 large undercounter cupboard
– 1 storage compartment in the step
– 3 open cupboard areas
– Belfast sink and mixer tap, which can be used as a shower out the door window

Living and Sleeping

– 2 large bench seats with extra large storage bins
– Dining table mounted on Lagun swivel leg
– Lounge area with cushions made from beige coloured, hardwearing, upholstery fabric. Cushions form together to make the bed
– “floating” shelves to either side of bed
– Leisure battery and electrical system components cupboard
– Extra storage cupboard with water components and 12v isolation switches
– 2 x light switches by the bed to turn off main lights
– Wood slat feature ceiling throughout
– MaxxAir Maxxfan Deluxe above bed with remote control which can either blow fresh air in or extract air out as required

– Large “garage” space beneath bed with lighting. “Garage” is home to fresh water tank but has ample space for storing outdoor equipment – chairs, tables, bbq etc

Insulation

The van is fully insulated using rock wool, space blanket and celotex.

– 20kg refillable LPG tank mounted under the van
– Internal gas actuator switch fitted
– Triple burner gas hob, grill and oven with electric ignition
– Whale water heater can run off gas or 230V mains hook up

Water

– 125L onboard fresh water tank

Comprehensive Victron energy electrical system with multiple battery charging options and 230V hook up, consisting of:
– 2 x 100Amp hour Victron Energy Smart leisure batteries
– Split charge relay installed between starter battery and leisure batteries (charges leisure battery from alternator)
– 800W Victron Energy Inverter charger installed enabling 230V AC (hook up) to 12V DC
