Vehicle Description

Toyota Alphard.
Camper conversion by All Seasons (2022).
This campervan is rust-free and dent-free, totally reliable, and smooth and easy to drive.
It’s just completed a 2000 miles plus tour of Ireland with no issues.
The conversion includes bespoke upholstery to the front seats and bed, and has four seatbelts.
The pop-top has just been re-proofed, and includes two led flexible stalk lamps with built-in usb connectors, and bed boards. There are two zip-open side mesh windows and one front clear window.
The kitchen has a combined sink/tap, and two-burner hob.
The tap is fed from an on-board reservoir (with external filler) and a submersible electric pump. The hob is connected to a CampingGaz 907 bottle within a steel enclosure at the rear with gas drop-out vent.
A gas grill (unused) is included, but this has been removed and stored as we didn’t need it, and thus gains extra storage, but can easily be refitted if required.
There are several cupboards over and under, and a cutlery drawer. There’s also a 12v compressor fridge with ice compartment.
A table (included) can be attached to the built-in base unit rail.
There is a double socket above the worktop, with two USBs.
There is a further double USB and a 12v socket adjacent.
Another double USB is fitted at the bed head end on the opposite side of the van.
12v power is supplied by a 100ah Renogy Core lifepo4 lithium leisure battery. This is charged by a 30a Renogy dc-dc charger, and also a (combined) Renogy MPPT charger from the roof-mounted 150w Renogy CIGS-type solar panel. There’s also a Fogstar mains charger, fed from the external shore power hook-up.
All 12v power items (apart from the solar panel and fuse/trip boxes) are under the driver’s seat making it a very tidy and space-efficient installation, freeing up lots of space in a cupboard where the original Sargent unit sat. The system was installed by Bruce Lauderdale of Powerhouse Off Grid/Coalition Vans, earlier this year.
The van has recently had an oil change with oil filter, also air filter and cabin air filter (all genuine Toyota parts).
The alternator was rebuilt by a Toyota main dealer last month, and at the same time a new Varta battery was installed, all ready for winter.
It comes with 18in ‘Layered’ alloy wheels, shod with good tyres (all checked out by the Toyota people in their Health Check).
There are ‘sonar’ front and rear parking sensors/beepers.
In the cab, I recently had an Alpine 9in screen Apple Carplay/Android/reversing camera head unit fitted, and also a Wolfbox G900 ‘rear view mirror’ with always-on front and rear cameras and recording facility.
The front passenger seat also swivels.
All living area windows have blackout curtains, and it comes with an exterior cover for the windshield and front door windows. There are also full width and length curtains behind the cab seats should these be preferred.
Underneath, the chassis has been Lanoguarded, and received the approval of the MOT tester who said it was one of the best he’d ever seen (there were no advisories either).
It has power-folding door mirrors, and power-latching sliding doors, with the RH one giving access to services, trips, and storage
If required, it comes with a drive-away awning (Olpro Cubo v2) and an Olpro sunshade (both of which attach simply to the concealed rail mounted under the pop-top). Both awnings are nearly new and have been used for one week (Cubo) and four days (sunshade).
Overall, everything just works perfectly, and the van – engine, brakes, transmission, suspension etc. – performs impeccably with a incredibly quiet and smooth ride.
The mileage recorded includes both the kilometers total from it’s pre-import life, and the miles recorded since conversion when All Seasons fitted the ‘imperial’ chip to the speedo, and I’d estimate the actual mileage to be somewhere between 50 and 55000, but could even be slightly less.
