Fiat Ducato 2.3L MWB JTD GRAN V
A professional conversion carried out when the vehicle was brand new
I purchased this vehicle in November 2024 from the previous owner who had placed it on SORN in early 2024 and had not used it again, allowing the MOT to expire in October 2024.
Following purchase, I submitted the vehicle for its MOT on 19th December 2024 which it passed. I have also given the vehicle a full service, including all filters and oil and brake fluid replacement.
The vehicle is also fitted with a towbar which was already fitted when I purchased it.
The interior is in very good condition with ample seating and a passenger seat which swivels to allow it to face into the living space. This conversion is a professional conversion and this is noted on the V5 document meaning this vehicle is not classed as a commercial vehicle for MOT purposes.
The vehicle has travelled 188,000 miles? The majority of which was travelled between 2005 and 2014 (174,370 miles). Between 2014 and 2024 the vehicle has only travelled a further 14,000 miles.
The engine appears to be in extremely good condition, with a very clean engine bay, runs well and provides acceleration as would be expected in a much newer vehicle. Colloquially, I would say it is running sweet as a nut
As can be seen from the photographs, the whole vehicle is in extremely good condition, being a compact and useable two berth campervan and, regardless of its age and has been well cared for throughout its life, however, there are a couple of minor marks on the bodywork as can be seen in the pictures but these do not detract from nor impact the useability of the vehicle.
The vehicle was purchased by the previous owner in October 2022, however, it was only used during the 2023 and 2024 holiday season before being parked up and placed on SORN.
The Fiat Ducato 2.3 15 MWB JTD Gran V is noted for the strong reliability of its engine and this vehicle is no exception to that, being mechanically reliable and smooth throughout my ownership.
I purchased the vehicle with the intention of using it during 2025, the vehicle is fitted with an auxiliary diesel heater (blown air) for the living area and includes hot and cold pumped water with the water heater using both gas or mains electricity, where provided on site. I have also fitted a TV aerial and a side awning to provide shade when sitting outside, I also purchased a set of levelling ramps and the silver heat retaining window covers. However, I have since, recommissioned my American RV which has been on SORN for the last 12 months and I now intend to use for travelling.
The details pertaining to the vehicle are listed below and, following those are a series of photographs, displaying the overall condition and useability of the vehicle.
