Ford Transit, SWB high top, 2008
I’m sadly selling my lovely van, Sally. She’s a swb high top Ford Transit, 2008. She’s been an amazing van. MOT until January 2025.
Work done over the last 8 months (have all the paperwork):
Fuel filter and pipe
2 new tyres
Engine replacement (only done 90k miles) and gear box. New clutch/clutch tube
Engine Oil
Gear oil
Rear and OSF wheel bearing
Gear Cables
Undersealed
Power steering pipe
Air filter
Welding
New Windscreen and wipers.
Cons: Wheel arches/age related body work. Very small oil leak. Back door handle is broken but still opens and closes fine.
Fan on roof isn’t operating but does not leak.
Passenger door trim needs reattaching.
Abs warning light very occasionally comes on, has done since I’ve owned the van, but goes off if you turn engine off, been told it’s just an electrical issue not the ABS.
May have slight wear on an injector or just need some diesel cleaner.
Open to sensible offers. After quick sale.
