I purchased this van last year and have had trips to the Lakes, the Peaks and down South, without adding too many miles to the clock. Each time it’s been a reliable vehicle starting up perfectly with no warning lights. I bought the van already converted and have slowly been redecorating it on the inside – currently in the process of putting new good quality vinyl lino down from TAPI flooring which I’m happy to leave for you to finish off.

Driving wise, the van has cruise control, heated windscreen and mirrors, steering wheel controls, pioneer stereo with bluetooth and a reversing camera

Inside are vast amounts of storage space, a small double bed, a diesel heater plumbed into the main diesel tank, electric system charged by a 130ah leisure battery with split charger which offers USB charging and a 200W Pure Sine wave inverter – the leisure battery is connected to the main battery in the van and charges whilst driving/the engines running. There are ceiling lights and LED strip lights under one of the shelves.

The van was serviced in March and had it’s MOT at the same time which it passed with no advisories. Whilst owning it, it’s had a new battery and a new windscreen recently fitted. I have also had some works done on the brakes with a new brake pipe fitted. Prior to me owning it, the previous owner also had work done – I have the paperwork for this. It had two owners before me, the dad who had it as a works vehicle and the son who did it as a campervan

The downside –
– The ABS pump is currently leaking and will need repair/replacement. I have been advised that used/reconditioned units may be available, but I have not had this repaired myself. The ABS warning light has not illuminated
– The body work of the vehicle does reflect its age and the fact it was previously a works vehicle before becoming a campervan. Rust is present, which is apparently typical in a ford transit van. In the near future, the body work of the vehicle may require some welding

Please note, the van is being sold as a project van for someone who wants a van ready on the inside but happy to put some time in getting it in full working order, or someone who wants to use mechanical parts/the converted parts as spares and repairs for other vehicles.
