After some unforgettable trips (including a farewell adventure through Scotland) a slightly bigger van is on the horizon for us, so itβs time for our Caddy Maxi to find a new home.

We have maximised the headroom of this van with a low-profile sofa/bed configuration for maximum headspace, whilst retaining ample storage beneath. The removed bulkhead enhances the open and spacious feel, allowing easy cab access.

SLEEPING & SEATING
A comfortable sofa easily converts into a full-length bed (190cm long by 110cm wide) with thick memory foam cushions (made from an IKEA mattress – they currently have a temporary covering that could easily be recovered). The bed design offers three configurable sofa arrangements (one straight and two different L-shape variants)
COMFORT & PRIVACY
Fully insulated with thermal insulation board, polyester insulation, and thermal foil. Thick semi-blackout curtains separate the cab from the living/ sleeping area, and these are secured by a removable tension pole. Magnetic home-made thermal window covers for the rear barn door windows provide both privacy and insulation.
LIGHTING
Includes 2 x dimmable USB rechargeable spotlights
This conversion does not include integrated electrics (12-v or otherwise), rechargeable USB lighting is utilised.
