High Spec, Off Grid Ford Transit

We have purchased this van in 2021 and completed a self conversion with the help of a professional carpenter that has over 30 years experience in the trade. We have used it on a one year trip around Europe and it has everything you need to live in it comfortably full time, if you wish to do so. A lot of planning and care went into the build and we are only selling it as we’re leaving Europe.

A little about what you cannot see:
– Any cuts needed to be made in the interior metal for windows, vents etc. have been treated with rust prevention. No screws used in the metal, instead we used rivet nuts which allowed us to rust prevent.
– All electric cables have been passed through rubber grommets and flexible conduits.
– All sides have Noico sound deadening sheets fitted.
– Sides and roof are insulated with Thermal fleece sheep wool and the floor with XPS foam board.

Ventilation and Temperature Control:
– Tinted opening window with fly screen in the rear (bed/dining area) and front (kitchen area)
