The Kia PV5 is one of the most talked-about compact electric vans to be launched in recent years—and it is easy to see why.
Many electric vehicle brands are still relatively unknown, but everyone knows Kia. The PV5 comes with Kia’s renowned seven-year warranty, offers an excellent driving range and is compact enough to use as an everyday vehicle. It looks fantastic, drives superbly and costs thousands of pounds less than many comparable electric vans.
If you haven’t driven a Kia PV5 yet, we recommend taking one for a test drive—you may be very pleasantly surprised!
Our new Kia PV5 “i-Camper” is built on the higher-specification Plus model and comes with the larger 71.2kWh battery, metallic paint and heat pump included in the price.
Campervan conversion
The four-berth conversion will include:
• Elevating roof with upper double bed
• Driver and passenger swivel seats
• Two individual sliding rear seats
• Rear seats fold down to create the lower bed
• Side kitchen conversion
• Freshwater tank
• LED interior lighting
• Solar panel
• Lithium leisure battery
• Mains hook-up
• Vehicle-to-Load technology (you can use the vehicle battery for the camper appliances)
• Cooking powered by mains hook-up or the vehicle’s main propulsion battery
• Four travelling seats with three-point seatbelts
• Rear seats can be moved, individually removed or repositioned
• Flexible layout suitable for carrying bikes or larger items
The sliding rear seat system has been fully tested in Germany. The front seat swivels have also been tested in Germany with the campervan roof frame fitted (as far as we are aware no one has done this level of testing)
Although the campervan can use the Kia’s main battery through its Vehicle-to-Load system, it will also have a separate lithium leisure battery, solar panel and mains hook-up. This means you will not need to rely solely on the vehicle’s propulsion battery when staying on a campsite.
When connected to the campervan mains hook-up, the system will also be capable of slow-charging the vehicle battery.

Upper roof bed
Lower seat seats which is crash tested and slides back and forth and can even be removed and makes in to a 1200mm wide bed
