Ford Cargo 609
Engine size 4162
6.2 tonne
Diesel, right hand drive

Condition of the body is quite good considering the age.The cab has been freshly sprayed a year or so ago. Some rust underneath but nothing drastic.
It was initially a mobile clinic and then converted by two previous owners into what it is right now,a lovely off grid home on wheels.
We have only owned it for a few months and sadly we need to let it go as my daughter who lived in it has changed her plans and I am leaving the country.
Her previous owner absolutely loved the lorry and will be a part of this exchange as he still has all the paperwork and know so much about the mechanics of the vehicle.
It has been MOT ed last June, passed no probs. It was parked last August and has not moved since then.Starts first time.
The paint job of the box is absolute art work, painted like a 19th century cottage(the lorry was a stage/backdrop for the previous owner’s travelling theatre performances)
The clock says less then 19000 and I think it has done more then that .The previous owner only drove it from festival to festival in the UK and for only 4-5 months per year
Currently SORN
The lorry is an off grid home on wheels.
900watts of Solar panels with 360+140ah of EBT Varta batteries(2 only 4 months old one a year and a bit) with 2 x Epever charge controllers and a AC to DC charger,Renogy battery monitor.3K inverter. This is all newly added a few months ago.
Not sure about the size of the water tank but at least 80-90l probably more.Gas tank is probably around 50l.We don’t have this info as the previous owner did not know and the physical size of it was enough for us.
The previous owner used the lorry mostly on the hook up power but we converted to be completely off grid.In the process some features of the hook up set up have been disconnected but can be connected again(like extra sockets, maybe indoor Air con)
2 hob gas cooker, tankless hot water heater for the indoor shower and outdoor wash, brand new Shurflo 30psi pump.Brand new shower mixer.
The roof has been treated with thick bitumen paint twice last year before the solar panels have been put in,so dry and no leaks.
Small Vendy wood burner that keeps the place really cozy.
Caravan style Domestic fridge in very good shape, runs on gas but it is 3way.
Insulation is 25mm or 30mm celotex type.
We are selling because my daughter is moving in with her boyfriend and I am leaving the UK.
There are some cosmetic and minor DIY jobs that we can do but if the new owner is happy to take the lorry as it is we are happy to lower the price.
Possibility of selling a brand new(used 2-3 times)Champion Generator The Mighty Atom 2K to charge your batteries on grey days.
Bathroom sink has a crack that I think can be fixed.
Sadly the awning has been damaged by the winds and we think it has to be removed.
There are two side doors, one leading straight into the living area, the other going via workshop area, which can maybe be a small office. This is connected to the cab via a crawl through
Viewing highly recommended as the photos might not give you the idea of the size/feel if the place.
Please get in touch we are highly reasonable and would be happy to sell sooner rather than later.
Small double cut on an angle, can sleep two,it is a squeeze but my daughter has slept with her partner(both quite tall)
