Vehicle Description

VW Crafter, Manual (6 gear), 2.0 Diesel, CR35, Long Wheel Base, High roof, Trendline model, first registered in July 2020.

Low mileage (under 50k), first MOT last June 2023, and perfect body condition. It drives like an absolute dream and has all the advantages of a being a new model with bonuses like parking sensors, Apple Car Play etc plus Air Con. Being the upgraded Trendline model means that the rear barn doors open fully back against the side of the van (270′ hinges) for those increased scenic views!

One owner as a Campervan and professional conversion to a Camper van, carried out in April 2021 by the Bristol Camper Company. Conversion includes: Fridge, solar panel, sink with electric water pump, massive awning, diesel heater, full king sized bed….all your ‘creature comforts’ are here and all very new.

The beauty of this van is not only that it’s so NEW (both in the model/age of the van itself and in the conversion) but ALSO the comfort and volume of the internal SPACE-allowing for full standing up inside (up to 190cm), the king size bed; the huge amount of storage space and enough length to house all the gear such as paddle and surf boards!!

The PROFESSIONAL CONVERSION, includes full insulation, and interior covering/marine ply flooring; full electrical installation (with a solar panel mounted on the roof, leisure battery, double chargers, fused consumer board and several 240v and 12v and USB sockets, 2 circuits of LED lighting including 8 ceiling spots on dimmer switch), the brand new 50L fridge, 2 ring gas hob, stainless steel sink and diesel heater etc; also all windows (one sliding open), plus opening skylight (complete with both fly screen and black out blinds) and Fiamma wind-out awning.

Fully OFF GRID – I’ve never had to hook up to mains electrics even over a 2 week trip to Scotland) though the hook-up point and electrical cable are included in case you want to (and needed in order to use the 2 x 240v sockets). There are plenty of USB charging points and also interior LCD control panels to see the ‘status’ of the leisure batteries and control the diesel heater.

The bespoke BIRCH PLYWOOD interior is beautiful and there is absolutely LOADS of storage space with two large kitchen units, two full length benches, two large cupboards, and a raised floor (both under the kitchen units AND in the rear 50% of the van providing ample underfloor space) as well as the
FULL KING-SIZE bed.
There is a brand new Thetford Porta Potty (housed in its own birch cupboard).
For cooking there is the 50L fridge, the double gas hob (connecting to a standard camping gaz cylinder), and the brand new stainless steel sink with electric water pump.
The foam cushions were custom cut out of high density top quality foam (which is very comfortable and also will last for years without sagging or degrading) and covered in dark grey 100% cotton canvas.
There are also handmade curtains hung throughout in grey black out fabric and also Orla Kelly fabric with decorative Pom-Pom edging and tie-backs.
For comfort, there are details such as the touch reading lights, and plenty of sockets, shelves a hooks for all your bits and bobs.

The van is fully functional and ready to go with everything you need in working order, with extras thrown in as well such as:
2 x Camp chairs and folding trestle table (which fit in their own cupboard)
The winter ‘sleeping bag’ cover which covers the entire van when not in use (nearly new worth £175)
Reflective insulated window covers for the front cab windows (worth £125)
Full of all your kitchen gear (if required)

Interior furniture is made of high quality birch ply (150mm) furniture made by The Van Furniture people in Norfolk and then bespoke fitted by a joiner.

There are two large kitchen units in an ‘L’ configuration-also housing also the 50L fridge, the camping gas bottle and the water supply/pump; the two ‘bed’ benches, and two further cupboards with doors PLUS tonnes of extra storage with the floor being raised to allow for storage boxes/containers to live underneath). There is the removable pedestal kitchen table with a marching Birch ply top and the flooring is a beautiful turquoise in a heavy weight (hospital grade!) vinyl which is extremely hard wearing (and a roll of several spare metres also supplied).

Beds Description

HUGE Full king size bed-the entire interior width of the van! (180cm wide-so you can sleep either way around).
The bed gets converted from the two full length birth ply wood bench units, so that you have the option of two long ‘sofas’ to sit on or you simply flip over the hinged central panel and the full width of the van becomes the enormous bed! These units also act as large storage cupboards, accessed both from the inside lengths and also from further cupboard doors at the rear too, so you can get to your stuff both when you’re inside and when you’re standing at the rear with the barn doors open.

Main Bed Length
195cm
