1997 rare import, registered in the UK in 2006.

Bought in 2018 as a totally stripped out van. It’s been rebuilt as a campervan with a totally unique living area (designed by me :))

It’s very comfortable to drive and live in but has a few issues:
Air conditioning doesn’t work & apparently never will again.
Leisure battery is dead & needs replacing.
There’s a few electrical quirks/glitches e.g., central locking, but I have workarounds for them.
Android Auto sound system/SatNav installed, but it went glitchy and I couldn’t find a fix easily, so it’s been disconnected.
Body work has a few bumps & scrapes as can be expected for the age of the vehicle. Of particular note, a couple of sections of the paintwork on the driver’s door is bubbling and there’s some paint flaking off the plastic rear bumper.
ABS light is on but everything is running smoothly. ABS Diagnostic check done January 2026: Code 41, linked to engine battery being outside normal range; and, Code 23, often caused by an open/short circuit on the ABS solenoid for the offside rear wheel. Code 23 could also be due to offside rear wheel speed sensor being short. For future work, it needs a new engine battery and will need to look at the wheel speed sensor or ABS pump to try to fix code 23.

I love this van. It’s a very reluctant sale due to a significant & unexpected change in personal and financial circumstances.
