Lazu the Blue is a one-of-a-kind, professionally engineered 4×4 expedition rig that has already travelled from London to Cape Town, tackling some of Africa’s most challenging terrain along the way. This isn’t a campervan built to look adventurous, it’s one that’s already done it.
Built from an ex-police Mercedes Sprinter 416 CDI riot-control vehicle, with an extended Nissan Patrol chassis, drivetrain and 4×4 running gear, Lazu combines Mercedes diesel power with serious Nissan Patrol off-road capability.
The build was completed in August 2022 and has been extensively tested and refined through real-world overlanding. Whether you’re planning the Pan-American Highway, the Silk Road, Iceland, Morocco or simply want the ultimate off-grid adventure vehicle, Lazu is ready to go.
If you want to combine the ultimate offroad and off-grid capability with home comforts like long hot showers, cold drinks with ice and a good night sleep in a king-sized bed, then you have to come and view Lazu.

Lazu has already done that part. She has been built, driven, tested and proven in the real world. This is a unique expedition vehicle and we’re ideally looking for a buyer who understands what has gone into the build and wants to take her on to the next chapter.
