Much loved Sybl is for Sale

Sadly due to declining physical mobility (spinal fractures/severe Osteoporosis ), I am no longer able to manage camping, even in the relative luxury that Sybl provides. ‘She’ is therefore for sale.

She’s a VW T25, water cooled petrol engine 1989cc and was ‘born’ on 1 August 1986; I bought her in Feb 2018. In my ownership since February 2018, the following work/improvements have been made to the ‘plain’ Autohomes Kameo Mark 2 conversion of a VW Transporter/Caravelle base vehicle:

1. A compressor fridge – Vitrifrigo (marine grade kit), 12v/230v;
2. A gas powered Dometic oven and under oven storage cupboard;
3. A Propex Heat Source gas powered blown air heater;
4. An onboard 230v battery charger (Victron blue smart charger 12/17) that charges the Leisure Battery (LB) and powers the fridge when on EHU (Electric Hook Up);
5. A 50W Solar panel on 5m leads to ‘follow the Sun’;
6. An MPPT controller (Victron 75/10) that takes the solar power to charge the LB;
7. Carburettor refurb Summer 2024;
8. Electric fuel pump – lower power relpacement, again Summer 2024;
9. Four new tyres, December 2024 at MOT & Service;
10. Vintage ‘Circle’ curtains;
11. Heat/Cool suction window ‘blinds’/panels;
12. Nobus coin vinyl flooring to kitchen/living ares;
13. Mad Matz sisal mats in cab & aisle;
14. LED ceiling lights (touch sensitive), and over sink LED light;
15. USB A double charging point (North Sea);
16. New engine battery & LB, May 2025;
17. Coolant sensor replaced in chamber in engine bay, June 2025;
18. 230V Consumer Unit and separate fuse box for lighting, heating, fridge, water pump circuits;
19. Cyrix split charger – charges the LB when driving;
20. Retro Wind Break and SYBL sign;
21. 2 x 10L water containers
22. Drinking water pump replaced Summer 2023;
23. Reupholstered bench seat and rear cushion;
24. Reupholstered driver and passenger seats (Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers);
25. ARB side awning (Campervan Culture)
26. Additional storage ‘pockets’ – driver and passenger doors, ‘living’ area; flip down bottle holder in cab;
27. LED lighting to over cab storage cupboards;
28. Carbon Monoxide monitor.

The onboard Thetford 335 Porta Potti came with her when I bought her.

I have limited ‘paperwork’ from the previous owner, a lady solo traveller too; who owned her for c12 years. However, it does include the original Autohomes Owner’s Manual !

A bit like me, her bodywork is now showing signs of age as also shown in accompanying photos. Having got the inside ‘sorted’ and mechanically my garage says she drives ’sweet as a nut’; the bodywork was to be the next area for some TLC. Alas. She does ‘scrub up’ well as some of the photo’s show, but is carrying a little road mud at the moment. I hope to get her washed again before any viewings/sale.
