I carefully carried out all the conversion work, and before insulating any surface rust was rubbed down and painted. The van has had a Gas safety check with certificates included. In addition the van features an internal 6kg gas tank in a metal gas box, this is vented to the floor with an external fill point. This allows the van to be filled at any LPG station.
The van has been on a few adventures in the last year, including a tour up north and the west coast last year, but due to work commitments we just don’t have the time to use this. It drives well with the more powerful 130hp engine with timing chain and cruise control. It’s also compact at only 6m long. Euro 5. No air conditioning. Age related dents etc, but generally good bodywork.
