MYRTLE – Beautiful Off Grid Camper NEW MOT

We’ve had many wild adventures in our beautiful “off-grid home on wheels” and are only (reluctantly) selling her, due to us buying a house this year. This bespoke van was professionally converted in 2020 before we bought it and we have added lots of personal and cosmetic touches since. Whether road-tripping, at campsites or at a festival, Myrtle always gets lots of attention. When people pop their heads in, they are always pleasantly surprised. Discreet and unassuming from the outside, but with all the essentials and creature comforts of home on the inside.

The internal height of the van is 6 ft 1 inch, so your average sized person (like us) can easily stand up without having to hunch over. The fixed bed’s solid base is at a height of 32 inches and reaches approx. 42 inches with the mattress, providing enough room to sit up comfortably whilst sat on the bed. There is a pullout table under the bed which stows away neatly so you can dine together.

Storage – there is plenty of storage room throughout the van including: over-cab storage, larder space for food underneath hob, cupboard under the bed, large box under main seat and 3 x overhead cabinets for clothes. Several drawers for kitchen utensils and cutlery. Shelving units for herbs & spices. The garage is also very large and can fit up to 2 x bikes. There is Thetford porta potty which stows away neatly in its own cupboard under the second chair. The leisure battery and all electrics including the fuse box are all accessible from the garage.

Insulation – a mix of soft and hard insulation to keep cool in summer and warm in winter. Fitted with a foil vapour barrier to reduce solar gain and condensation making it comfortable all year round.
