Conversion Description
This is the 10th camper conversion from Wild Heart Campers. The base vehicle is a Navy Blue Citroen Relay L3H2 2015. Viewings and test drives in London SW15.
Taylored Designs has converted it to full working off-grid camper van commissioned and designed by Wild Heart Campers. 140AH leisure battery powered by 270W solar panel on the roof. Mains hook up for campsites and Victron inverter. The 20L LPG tank is underslung and you refill at LPG pumps- there is a Thetford full oven with 3 ring hob. 48L water tank and 47L underslung waste tank.. There is a diesel heater and a hand-made, bespoke mini wood burner for cosy winter nights.
The full double bed is fixed with a memory foam mattress and the seating converts to a small single bed. The double bed has a Linen upholstered foam headboard fitted within the recess. The curtains and blinds are blackout Burnt Orange linen with leather tab detail from La Redoute. There is a pallet wood pull out table just large enough for 3 to dine. There is also a pull out drawer with Porta Potti.
There are 6 ceiling spotlights, two brass reading lights and LED mood lighting at the foot of the bed under the built in overhead cupboards which have rattan detail and leather handles. There are USB 12V phone charging points The plug sockets and light switches are Victorian style brass.
The kitchen painted in F&B “Green Smoke” is a shaker style with brass handles. It has a butler sink and rustic 300 year old solid oak worktop, a brass tap and an overhead cupboard plus log store or cookery book hatch. The fridge is a 36L compressor fridge in a drawer that pulls out and the custom built mini wood burner sits on a tiled surface of Moroccan style star tiles behind it.
The Ceiling is a pallet wood chevron pattern as a feature and pallet wood is also used to clad the bulkhead, bed, seating and overhead cupboards. The rest of the cladding is tongue and groove painted in F&B off white to keep it lightweight and fresh looking.
There is a ladder to the roof deck which is made of decking boards fixed to the roof rack – perfect for sundowners. There are beautifully crafted pallet wood framed rear barn windows, sliding window in the kitchen area and sliding door window.
