Our most excellent van ‘Maisie-Grace’ is one of a kind with low mileage (67,876) this conversion has been done to a high finish with engineered oak and hand-made pine units. The under carriage has all been wax oiled and the whole van is extremely well insulated. It has a full 200 watt solar split charge system with 2 leisure batteries, a 4000 watt inverter and 240 and 12 volt connections inside. Comes with a Smev 2 burner and 1 sink unit all connected up to Butane. Itโs completely off the grid.
It also has a Windy Smithy โWendyโ stove fitted alongside all of the necessary single skin and twin wall flu attachments, including a weatherproof flashing and cowl.
This size of van is perfect, I personally wouldnโt want to go much bigger. Itโs big enough for me to stand up in (5ft10) but also not too tricky for me to drive around country lanes in. We use a solar shower which can be hung up from the rear door or a nearby tree, and the great outdoors for ablutions.
All in very good mechanical condition, new MOT from October 2022.
