Additionally, the reading light in the bedroom and USB ports at the bed and 12V control box run off the leisure battery, allowing you to stay connected even while off-grid.
The conversion is designed for maximum lightness and space, allowing for off-grid living and use as a studio. Spit charger charges while driving. I use for the lights mostly as in my experience leisure batteries just go dead if heavily pressed. Lithium can be dropped to zero and back again like a phone with no loss. The electrics provide a basic set-up with room to add the circuits you desire for your need.
This is portable so can be taken outdoors too for the beach etc. Also can charge at home before the trip or from the Camper’s cigarette lighter socket whilst driving. The Thetford flush swivel toilet is new, and the cassette system is accessed externally from the outside locker. Blinds have been fitted to windows for privacy, and a cutlery drawer and overhead cabinets provide ample storage.
The van has a brand-new mattress still in the wrapper, and an over-the-cab double bed provides a comfortable sleeping space. Sleeps four. Underneath the bed is a large storage area, and a lockable outside storage locker is available for tools, etc. The gas bottle is accessed from its lockable outside locker too, and a real ceramic Belfast sink, handmade Mexican tiles, and solid oak floor add to the camper’s charm. A fixed table has been added with a take-off leg, making dining and working convenient. Sony Bluetooth stereo syncs automatically to your phone for playing tunes and taking calls. For those rainy days or chilled evenings.
“Woody” is powered by a 2.4 litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It starts first time, drives and runs well, and is quite economical. The engine is in great condition for its age and drives smoothly. Hums along happily at 60-65mph and gives decent fuel economy. Three passenger seats up front with seat belts with easy access to the back. The last MOT only failed on a backlight, which was replaced immediately. The chassis is solid, has never been welded, and is completely undersealed with waxoil protection, keeping it like new for decades to come. Locker on the side of the van is good for tools etc. Bodywork in great condition and newly painted. 2 sets of keys.

Need to sell and a new owner to take care of her.. Just back from a Scotland trip. FULL YEARS MOT NO ADVISORIES. NEVER BEEN WIELDED. LAST MOT WAS A BULB OUT.
