This build was created with equal focus on practicality, comfort, safety, atmosphere and style.
The goal was to create a campervan that feels more like a cosy living room than a kitchen — a place where rainy days don’t spoil the trip because spending time inside still feels like a treat.
A camper that feels tidy, uncluttered with packing and unpacking reduced to the absolute minimum – camper that is almost ready to go, rather than something that needs half a day of preparation before every trip.

To make this possible, I designed dedicated storage for almost everything, allowing many everyday items to simply stay inside the camper between trips, ready for the next adventure.
The electric kettle, coffee, sugar and spices are already waiting for you on the open shelf, securely stored for travel and always within easy reach. The “magic” mirror cabinet was designed around everyday routines. Fixed shelves, holders and compartments keep your toiletries neatly organised while travelling. The included low-wattage hair dryer and hair straightener are already fitted and plugged in, so they’re always there whenever you need them.
The kitchen washing-up liquid dispenser and hand cream dispenser can remain filled and ready to use, while the privacy cubicle includes dedicated storage for toilet rolls and built-in dispensers for body wash and shampoo.
You don’t even need to pack phone chargers because they’re already fitted and ready to use.
Everything you need inside the living area stays inside the living area. You can access everything and even set up the bath and privacy cubicle while the single bed is already made up for the night.
The large wardrobe makes life in a campervan easier, keeping your belongings organised and easy to find.
We always keep our pyjamas and a few outfits in the wardrobe, so whenever the thought of a night away in the camper pops into our heads, we simply fill the tanks, grab the keys, stop at the shop for some comfort food and head off for a movie night in the wild:)
Well-organised storage, combined with the thoughtfully designed interior, warm lighting and cosy seating area, creates an atmosphere that feels surprisingly luxurious for a campervan.

On many of our trips, it genuinely felt more like staying in a stylish micro-apartment than a vehicle. Even when parked beside a hedge, on a street or in an ordinary car park, we still felt like we were away on a proper holiday.

Everything shown in the photos and video is included with the campervan, allowing the next owner to enjoy the same ready-to-go experience from day one. A brand-new bathtub and toilet will be supplied before sale.

I will start with electricity setup as I guess that is a deciding factor for many.

The system was designed to be simple, practical, flexible and safe whether you’re staying on a campsite or heading off-grid.

● Power Setup

• 2 x 130Ah Leoch Adventurer leisure batteries (260Ah total)
3 ways of battery charging:
• Solar charging – 215W solar panel
• Battery-to-battery charging while driving – Renogy 40A
• 240v Mains Charger – Victron Blue Smart I0P22 15A. You can charge while on hook-up and from home (hook up adapter and waterproof extension lead for home charging included)
• MPPT – solar charge controller
• Renogy 500A battery monitor with shunt
• Victron 275A battery isolator switch
• IP66 solar array DC isolator
• 2000W pure sine wave inverter
• Separate 600W pure sine wave inverter dedicated to the fridge
• hook up lead for campsite included

● Sockets & Charging

• USB-C chargers fitted on both sides of the fixed bed
• USB-C and iPhone chargers fitted by the single bed
• 2 x double USB charging sockets
• Multiple 240V sockets via inverter
• Dedicated 240V hook-up sockets for campsite use

●Safety

RCBO protection has been fitted, helping protect users from electric shock while also protecting cables and appliances from overloads and short circuits.

I also deliberately left plenty of space around the electrical system for ventilation rather than squeezing everything into the smallest possible compartment.

● What To Expect From The Electrical System – Tested On Real Trips

The electrical system wasn’t simply installed and left untested. It has been used during multiple trips, including a four-night winter trip to Wales.

Based on our own experience, the solar panel does an amazing job during very sunny weather. When the UV index is really high, you could comfortably stay off-grid for weeks.
On normal summer days with a lower UV index, you can expect around 2–3 days off-grid without needing to drive.

In winter conditions longer stays are easily achieved with occasional driving, campsite hook-up charging or a combination of both. Without driving, off-grid, using the diesel heater, when daylight hours are shorter and solar charging is much less effective, I would personally treat the setup as best suited to overnight off-grid stays.

● Diesel Night Heater – heater draws diesel directly from the vehicle’s main fuel tank and can be controlled from the wall-mounted control panel or by remote control. Blows warm air into the living area, with the option to also heat the cab to help reduce condensation and dry damp clothing. 1

● Construction and Materials
• The camper has been insulated throughout as part of the conversion.
The floor consists of foil-faced rigid insulation board beneath an 18mm plywood subfloor, finished with lino flooring.
• The walls and ceiling combine sound deadening, reflective foil insulation, recycled fleece insulation and vapour barrier materials behind 9mm plywood wall and ceiling panels.

Panels were primed and painted to create a bright, durable and easy-to-clean finish.
Frequently used surfaces will be protected for durability and easier maintenance, including the worktop, dining table, removable bed table and bamboo chopping board/worktop extension.

● The Opening Between the Cab and Living Area – it serves several purposes.
• emergency access to the cab if you ever need to leave the location without stepping outside.
• allows additional natural light into the living area (there is no need to turn on lights when blind is open and all doors are closed).
• through opening you can also hang a damp towel on the detachable laundry line placed in the cab.
• In summer, during a drive, when aircon is on, blinds up, it can cool down living area.
• improves ventilation,
• creates a lovely soft-light effect through the cab blinds.

● Easy-Clean Kitchen Splashback – along with shelving undersides have been protected with matte Polyvine Decorators Varnish to make cleaning easier. Grease splashes and everyday cooking marks can simply be sprayed with kitchen cleaner and wiped away.

● Quirky Bathroom setup:) – removable privacy cubicle for toilet, bath & changing.
I intentionally avoided a permanently fitted shower cubicle. Apart from taking up valuable living space, I was also concerned about the possibility of hidden leaks and moisture issues developing over years of driving on uneven roads.
It can remain set up with the toilet inside for quick and convenient use, while still allowing access to the wardrobe and lower storage compartment. It’s there when you need it, but when you don’t, the space becomes part of the living area again:)

●The foldable bathtub with rechargeable shower pump – integrated part of Quirky Bathroom:) I can’t honestly call it a luxury spa experience ;), but knowing I can wash wherever I want without relying on campsites feels like a luxury to me:).
The bath is not intended as a full soaking bath. Its purpose is to provide a practical way to wash – walls of bathtub are high enough to prevent water from splashing.
Before building it, we often found ourselves paying for campsites simply because we wanted a shower or wasting time searching for service stations with shower facilities.
Warm water is as simple as boiling a kettle on the gas hob, mixing it with cold water in provided bucket.
A pop-up outdoor privacy cubicle is also included for anyone who prefers washing outside.

● adaptable kitchen – worktop not occupied by permanently fitted hob means freedom to use the space however suits your travel style and cooking habits.
Portable Tefal single induction, single gas hob and deep-dish gas grill/pan cooker with lid are included, but not permanently fixed hob, make space free for air fryer, toaster or coffee machine if desired.

The deep-dish cooker became our favourite because it handles meals for 3 people – everything from breakfasts and one-pan dinners to pizza and brownies with very little washing up.

● Generous Kitchen Storage

• The 87L fridge – large enough for several days away without constantly needing to visit shops. Includes freezer compartment, two shelves, fresh-food drawer, storage on door for bottles, eggs, cans and jars.

• the under-sink single door cabinet holds:
– 25L grey water tank,
– dedicated storage space for 2 x 5L drinking water bottles (connected to drinking water dispenser placed on worktop),
– washing up liquid container and hand cream/body lotion containers (connected to dispensers on worktop),
– cordless vacuum cleaner.

• cabinet with 4 drawers
• mini fitted dish drainer – placed in the drawer under double seat, just opposite the sink (fragile ceramic plates and mugs need to be removed for the drive).
• open kitchen storage – earlier mentioned long shelf and wall spice rack.

● Seating area with dining table beside the sliding door – the perfect viewpoint to enjoy your morning coffee, meals or the scenery wherever you park.

The table can remain installed while travelling and secures neatly against the wall when not in use, need to be detached for setting up single bed (stored overnight in over cab storage).
Table also has an additional support leg .
That seating area converts into a single bed (192cm long and 65cm wide).
Faux-fur bench covers are removable.

● entertainment for lazy evenings and rainy days
• The smart TV – you can stream from your phone, watch Netflix or connect a games console. Mounted on a movable bracket and can be watched from bed, while cooking or even from outside under the awning (perfect for popcorn movie nights).
• Xbox with two controllers
• Chess/Checkers board stencilled on bed table/desk (checkers and chess figures included).
• small karaoke setup and colour-changing music-sync LED lighting
• wall mounted phone holder with bluetooth remote – family selfies made easy (lots of fun and priceless memories:).

● awning that can be set up over rear doors and side door. Having roof over rear door in case of rain was very important for us – preparing dinner while watching our favourite series was a must:) That wouldn’t be possible with fixed awning, that’s why we decided to go with detachable one. Not as convenient as fixed, but more beneficial for this campervan.
The setup includes:
• 3m x 3m white waterproof tarp
• 2 x telescopic poles
• Guy ropes
• Long waterproof storage bag to go on roof rack for transportation (when folded can be also transported under fixed bed storage compartment).

● Enclosed Garage with decorative warm ambient lighting – apart from being stylish integral part of the interior, is also a home for power setup, fresh water tanks (50L total) and outdoor equipment like: chairs, outdoor table, firepit, wood, fishing rods and vehicle tools.

● Bodywork
The bodywork is not cosmetically perfect and shows the age and working life of the van, with dents, bumps, scratches, marks and evidence of previous repairs.
I’m happy to provide additional close-up photos of all imperfections before arranging a viewing, so you know exactly what to expect.

The cosmetic imperfections didn’t bother us when we bought the van and they bother us even less now after being cleaned, treated and protected against rust. Personally, if we were keeping the van for our family, we would leave it as it is or we would go with subtle decals matching the interior aesthetic. It would suit the van beautifully and draw attention away from most of the imperfections while giving it a more unique character.

● Dependable and Reliable Base Vehicle.
The vehicle starts, drives and performs exactly as it should, with the reliable 2.5 DCI engine providing excellent pulling power and comfortable cruising. No service history is available. However, the van has benefited from substantial recent maintenance and has successfully completed numerous trips throughout the conversion process, proving itself to be a dependable and reliable base vehicle.
Being an MWB van, it still fits comfortably within a standard parking space.

● Interior – designed to feel calm, bright and welcoming, with a Scandinavian-inspired combination of white, wood and black accents, warm lighting and practical easy-clean finishes throughout.
The neutral colour palette works with almost any style, so a simple change of bedding, throws and cushions can give the interior a completely different feel whenever you fancy a refresh 😊

When finished, this camper will tick every box we originally wanted it to tick 😊
For our family, it achieved exactly what we hoped for and more.

We love that capervan, but rather than feeling sad to see it go, I’m excited to find someone who will appreciate and enjoy it as much as we do.

When we bought the base van, the plan was simply to build our own dream mobile apartment for family adventures. Somewhere along the way I completely fell in love with the process of designing, building and decorating campervans.
By the end of the build I realised I’d found something I would love to do professionally, which is ultimately the reason this camper is being offered for sale rather than kept.
