Engine management light has been on since I have owned it (23k miles) and its never skipped a beat. Diagnosed by Mercedes who advised me not to spend more money on it as its not doing any harm and not effecting the performance (more details available on request)
Converted in 2020 for tall person with full length bed and 6ft 3 standing height. Me, my partner and our dog have lived and worked full time in it for 18 months. We have owned and converted various vans for years so lots of thoughtful features that make vanlife easy such a dog bed area under the bed, tiled area for wet coats by the door, curtain rail that doubles as a clothes line, access to the garage and cab from the living area, cooker hood to stop food smells from getting into all your clothes – these little things matter!
Set up to keep all your kit with you and stowed easily. Layout is optimised to be able to store bikes, skis, boards, tools etc. easily in a garage whilst still having a full length bed and clutter free living space. Loads of storage for everyday life including wardrobe with rail, large food storage cupboard, lots of clothing/bedding storage space. Garage fits 2 bikes and roof rack with loads of space for bulky sports equipment.
Spec’d for all year round off-grid living with heating and solar system capable of running laptop and fridge indefinitely in summer and for over a week without need to plug in or drive when there is very little sun. If you need your laptop charged and your milk/beers to stay cold the extra capacity is really important in the cloudy UK! LPG and 12v system can easily handle the instalment of a hot water system etc if wanted. big battery bank and 2000w inverter can run most appliances for extra creature comforts (think coffee machine, hair dryer, portable washing machine). Insulated with reflective padding, rock wool in cavities and moisture barrier throughout.
