Peugeot Boxer 2.2L MWB High Roof
This is a very clean and tidy van, it’s had a recent MOT (22nd of March, got that wrong in the video) which it sailed through! I had a DPF pressure sensor changed shortly after purchasing and the mechanic informed me that the turbo was new which is a common and expensive fault with these vans. He also said it had a new sump gasket fitted and was impressed with the overall condition of the engine. She is diesel and is a 2.2l engine. I bought this van from a dealership who had given it a service prior to my purchasing. The bodywork is clean.
I am very proud of this van, my eighth conversion. It is a simple and elegant layout which is practical whilst feeling warm and homely. I think this feel is achieved through finishing touches such as the beautiful handcrafted wood burner and the waney edged wood used for the kitchen top! Everything in there is bespoke making this a truly unique campervan. There is oodles of storage beneath the bed, as well as in the dining seats and overhead cabinets. The Kitchen has lots of room for food prep and has a lovely 4 ring gas hob ready for your culinary explorations, the gas system in the van has been gas safe certified! The sink is pump fed from a 66 litre underslung water tank which frees up lots of space underneath the kitchen counter to store your crockery and dry foods. The 3 way Dometic fridge within the kitchen area can run off gas in the winter and sun in the summer, or the mains if you are hooked up making it a versatile addition. The wood burner heats the van up incredibly efficiently and will keep you toasty on the chilliest of winter evenings. The 12 volt electric system is fed by a whopping 440w solar panel, bought from the trusty team at Bimble Solar, ensuring it’s quality, you can rest assured that you will be receiving ample sun power! There is also a hook up system which allows you to run off 240v if this option is available.
The bed is ever so slightly narrower than a double (not noticeably) and full length thanks to the boxers internal dimensions! It’s a fixed bed ready to go.
