FUTURE POTENTIAL: When designing the conversion, I tried to ‘future proof’ the layout – with small changes to the seating configuration the van could easily become a 3 or 4 birth. My long-term vision was to adapt the single swivel seat to a double swivel, adding an extra belted seat, and create a small single bed with the dinette area. Installing a foldaway belted seat in the moveable bench seat, and creating a single bed within the cab would increase the potential even further allowing up to 4 persons.
