With just 82,000 miles on the clock, this Sprinter has many more adventures ahead of it. Backed by Mercedes’ legendary reliability and a 7-speed automatic gearbox, itβs a pleasure to drive. Features like large side mirrors and a reversing camera make maneuvering simple, whether youβre on the road or at a campsite.
It recently passed its MOT (valid until 08/04/2025) with no advisories, giving you peace of mind from day one.

Handcrafted Off-Grid Adventure Camper
Built entirely from the ground up, this bespoke off-grid adventure camper combines thoughtful design with practical comfort. At the rear, a fold-out step leads to a fully sealed entrance door, illuminated by an external light for ease of access.
Interior Highlights
With a generous internal head height of 76″ (6ft 4″), the van feels spacious the moment you step inside. On the right, you’ll find two storage-equipped bench seats with a folding table between themβperfect for dining, working, or relaxing.
To your left is a beautifully crafted kitchen area. It features an Apicool under-counter fridge with an integrated freezer box, topped with a solid oak worktop. Above the fridge is a portable air fryer oven. A single-zone induction hob is inset next to a white ceramic butler sink, all complemented by two lower cupboards for extra storage. A pop-up socket tower with USB ports is neatly tucked into the corner for added convenience.
Practical Storage & Smart Lighting
Above the fully opening windows (fitted with fly screens and blackout blinds), two shelves with baskets offer extra storage. LED strip lighting under the shelves provides soft, efficient illumination throughout.
Onboard Bathroom Facilities
Next to the handmade kitchen unit is a thermostatic shower with a full-length curtain, and a portable toilet is conveniently located nearby. Above the shower, you’ll find a fixed vent and a large, clear roof light/vent in the main walkway, ensuring excellent airflow. A roof vent with integrated fly screen and blackout blind adds additional ventilation and privacy.
Sleeping & Wardrobe Space
Across from the kitchen is a spacious wardrobe with hanging space for long garments, a lower section for shoes, and an upper shelf for folded clothes. This wardrobe backs onto a fixed 4ft double bed, complete with overhead ambient lighting. Under-bed storage houses the key systems: electrics, inverter, water tank, and diesel heater.
Exterior Features
On both sides of the van, Daken storage boxes provide waterproof, lockable space for gear like inflatable paddleboards, deck chairs, or a fire pitβideal for any adventure. These are the same heavy-duty units found on commercial vehicles, built for durability and weather resistance.
Off-Grid Electrical & Water Systems
This van is fully equipped for off-grid living:
400W solar panels powering a 280Ah lithium leisure battery
2000W Renogy inverter supporting most 240v appliances
Renogy DC-DC charger with smart trickle charge from the main battery
Smart 240v charger automatically tops up battery when connected to mains
10L Propex hot water tank (runs off inverter or mains)
100L cold water tank (positioned under-bed to prevent freezing)
Shurflo pump and accumulator for consistent water pressure
Diesel air heater plumbed into the vanβs main fuel tank
All systems are easily accessible and not hidden behind panels, making future upgrades or maintenance simple.
Driving Experience & Practicality
Built on a Mercedes MWB chassis, this van offers renowned reliability and a smooth automatic gearbox. At under 7m, it’s significantly easier to park and maneuver than longer wheelbase vans. A reversing camera aids visibility, and the squared body makes parking a breeze.
Payload & Weight
With an unladen weight of approximately 2,600kg and a gross vehicle weight of 3,500kg, youβre left with a massive 900kg payload. Thatβs more than enough capacity for passengers, water, food, bikes, and gearβunlike many camper conversions that leave you with very little legal load room.
Final Thoughts
Every aspect of this van has been designed with real-world practicality in mind. From handmade fixtures and premium materials to high-spec electrical and water systems, this camper is ready to hit the road for extended off-grid adventures without compromise.
