We purchased April 2021 from the couple who converted it. It was previously a fleet vehicle for BAM. They had it bought over from Amsterdam and had it declared as a UK registered vehicle once they converted it.
They did the majority of the work themselves including the electrics as they were electrical engineers. They have given us the schematic of how it is all set up and this will be passed on.
As we were due our first we changed the single passenger seat to a double belted cab seat. However we are now due our second so having to reluctantly sell on.

We have had some amazing 1 night – 1 week trips in this van since we purchased was perfect all during my first and second pregnancy with the permanent bed and little one was able to fit in the double bed with us too. We were looking at the option of a front toddler bed as time went on but there was always enough room so never did but the potential is there with either the front cab or the driver side bench seat.

Since having it we have fixed a few rust spots for aesthetic purposes, they were on the van when the couple purchased it but they hadn’t got bigger in the two years they had it, but I preferred getting it done.
We repainted the interior of the van when purchased and have touched up each year and reupholstered the bench seats and made matching lined curtains for the windows and between the front cab and back of the van.

The back driver side light had slightly cracked casing when we purchased but never got around to replacing as didn’t cause any issues. I did look and you can buy a new one for £60 so have factored that into the price.

There are some dents here and there on the body work from travelling on narrow country roads to campsites (or perhaps more a testament to our driving on narrow country roads) but have been checked and just aesthetic, again this has been factored into the price.

We have replaced the windscreen wiper motor when that failed last year. But apart from that it has just been cleaning and painting TLC.

It really is a small home on wheels and has been a pleasure to own. Just wish we could have another seat installed so we can continue our adventures with two kids. Having a fridge, cooking facilities and especially the solar panels we have been able to park off grid or when we do go to campsites we don’t need an electric charging point so is generally cheaper. As it doesn’t have any outward signs of it being a camper van it is good for stealth parking.

As a left hand wheel vehicle it also comes with a European lights which we have never used as only driven in UK but if you are heading over to Europe in it, they are easily switched out. We had the hopes of taking over to Europe but never got around to it but this vehicle is perfect for someone who wants to do that, especially as it comes with the gas adapters for UK or Europe, no need to plug in as the solar and driving battery gives all the electric you need. But equally had suited us perfectly for UK trips, up to Scotland, over to Wales, down to Devon and Cornwall and across to Norfolk and Suffolk we have had some wonderful trips away and always has been reliable and like a mini home away from home, super useful especially when travelling with a baby and toddler.

We have kept all the instructions manuals and information from the couple that did the conversion and they all come with the vehicle.
