3 berth Mercedes Sprinter MWB- 209,000 miles, good solid clutch, gearbox and engine; these engines are well known to do over 500,000 miles. Engine capacity is 2.151 cc, 5 speed.
11 months MOT, serviced in Dec 2022. She does have a few superficial dents, but its all been sanded, primed and resprayed with HMG paint and she still looks great for her age!
Immaculate underneath, she was wax oil undersealed before she went on the road, so there is no corrosion to speak of and all minor corrosion that was picked up on the recent MOT was welded professionally at a respected garage.
3 belted seats in the cab, we decided not to get seat covers for them as there’s such a range out there and wanted to leave the option to the new owner!
The spare wheel is stored underneath the van, easy to access with a jack in the front.
There’s a separate diesel heater in the cab fitted by Mercedes.
This camper is ready to drive away, with our history in converting historic wooden boats into live aboard yachts we know the meaning of “shipshape”, therefore you will not find any loose decorations, pot plants or such ready to fly off during your first journey. Solid oak flooring throughout, high quality NOT laminate! All of the wood throughout the van has been sanded smooth and had 4 coats of food-safe oil.
Heavily insulated with double vapour barrier.
A gorgeous Glastonbury Burner wood stove with glass window, a very efficient burner which heats the van up quickly. Can also fit a kettle on the top to save putting the gas on when you want a brew.
50L water container, this has all been plumbed and connected to a professional SeaFlo 12V water pump which gives pressured water to the kitchen sink. Waste water tank under the sink which is easily removable.
Solid oak kitchen worktop. Powerful 2 ring gas cooker perfect for cooking on! The cooker is connected to a butane gas bottle. Black sink and tap, with pop up drain plug.
Timber lined walls, so you can easily add your own fitted decorations to make it feel like a home from home, picture frames, mirrors, wall hangings, blackboard etc.
Brand new Porta Potti 145 stored away under the bench with a lift up hatch in the woodwork for easy removal.

Storage:
There is a large amount of under bed storage with access from the back doors.
Plenty of under sofa storage. One of the storage spaces could be used for a fridge or cool box as it’s right next to the 12V and 240V sockets.
Underneath the wood burner is space for logs and kindling.
The leisure battery and inverter are stored in a cupboard under the kitchen area, which are both easily accessible.
Electrics:
Fully off grid ability with the electrical systems in this van, giving you the freedom to roam away from civilisation!
With 2 100ah leisure battery hooked up to a split charge relay from the alternator, which charges the batteries up as soon as the engine starts – putting in over 14 volts. We found this has been much more reliable in the past than solar power as the weather isn’t amazing all year round to keep batteries charged.
There is also 240V power via a 500W inverter, which has 1 USB port and a 3 prong plug socket. Along with a USB port & voltage reader next to the sofa.
The LED lights are powered by the 12V, they create a warm light and are manually switched on via a switch in the seating area.
