She’s our bamboo beauty, loved so much by us and by all who step inside and we hope whoever buys her will love her as much as we do. She drives ‘like a beauty’, we’ve never had a problem with her and she has a BRAND NEW MOT, valid until April 2025 with no advisories so she’s all set for your next adventure. Whether it be listening to the waves crash on the beach or looking at the stars through the giant skylights in Scotland’s highlands, Wanda will keep you cosy, protected and snug.

We converted her in 2019/2020 alongside Mark, a professional campervan converter, who completed ‘the tricky bits’ of the installation such as the electrics and solar panels, gas, windows and skylights. She was designed with self-sufficiency and sustainability in mind: bamboo for cabinets, tables and worktops, off-cut/seconds materials for curtains and upholstery. Along with minimal use of electricity for least reliance on the battery / solar panels which means maximum time off-grid in our (sometimes) cloudy climate. A brilliant bit of news is that we have had Wanda approved by Quirky as ready to rent, so if you wanted to rent her out, she’s ready to go!

Her highlights:
– 5 seats with seat belts
– Fully off-grid capable
– 5 berth: 1 double bed and 3 single beds spaces/1 x single and a double space.
– 2 additional seats as you enter the living quarters from the side door. This area transforms into table seating area with an adjustable Sequoia table and then into a single bed area (with second table from dining area).
– Large kitchen space with pop up extra work top, Dometic WAECO CRX50 fridge freezer, sink, 2 x gas hob and lots of storage space – water pumped from tank using foot pump so no need for electricity
– Dining area at the back with Sequoia table seating for 6-8 which transforms into a roomy double bed or two single beds (with even an extra small little bed on the floor between the two singles if desired)
– Double skylight above double bed with bug screen and blackout blind for cosy star gazing at night
– Heater: 350w ultraslim infrared panel heater which runs off the solar panels / leisure battery & inverter with thermostat control and remote control so you can switch it on from your bed!
– External shower cubicle with water pump shower head
– 2 x large pop open windows with bug screens and blackout blinds
– Security blackout blind to separate front cab from living quarters
– Storage spaces under the passenger seats, above the driving cabin, under the sofas/bed area, above the kitchen / under the kitchen counter-top
– Portable toilet

Electrics:
Comes with an efficient and reliable electrical setup which is easy to use and minimal to maintain. The system has been designed with off-grid travel as its priority, meaning you will very rarely need to connect to mains electricity.
