Welcome to Little Girl Bob!
A dream compact van, ready to go and destined for many more adventures! Just back from a trip and raring for more, Bob drives like a dream and provides the perfect home for someone who enjoys the outdoors and wants to spend time off grid, but doesn’t want to have to drive big vans or struggle to park.
*In-person or video call viewings available.
I bought Bob one year ago as an approved used 2019 Medium Wheel Base from Wheels Van Centre in Stanwell which included the MOT and warranty.
The MOT is expiring soon, so I have booked one for April 8th ready for the new buyer. The van has been a joy to drive and hasn’t had a single problem taking me around Europe!
Great condition, as expected from the well known Wheels Van Centre and it drives very smoothly and with plenty of power thanks to its 1500cc diesel engine.
The driver’s cab has air conditioning, cruise control, reversing sensors, bluetooth and USB points as well as good storage options on the side doors, dashboard and by the passenger seat.
Wing mirrors have additional blind spot mirrors which have been very handy, especially in Europe.
Comes with two sets of keys, manual and V5 ready for buyer.
This van was completed by Supermoon Campers last May before we set out on our 9 month adventure around Europe.
Having previously lived full time in a larger Citroen Relay LWB, I wanted to downsize in order to be able to explore historical cities, park anywhere, and feel very comfortable not driving a huge van! Bob has been absolutely perfect.
Electrics: I needed to be able to work remotely so the electrics and lithium battery were an important part of the conversion. The battery is charged off the engine and lasts for absolutely ages. It charges two laptops, phones and headphones via 240 and USB as well as our lights and water pump. If we stayed somewhere for a up to week we never had an issue, which I found amazing. The ceiling lights pull from the lithium battery, but I also had additional “mood lighting” under cabinets and inside the recessed kitchen storage.
Bedroom: The Contour Camper Topo bed was installed by Supermoon Campers and also houses the diesel heater in a separate compartment. This means there is still loads of space under the bed for storage. It sleeps two when pulled out, or if you’re solo traveling then you can leave it as is for a comfy sleep. I have the cushions for it that turn into a mattress.
Kitchen: On the left hand side is the kitchen area which Supermoon Campers built bespoke and includes a sink with running water. There is water storage for 20 litres as well as plenty of cupboard space where we kept our pans, plates, cutlery and all our food. The doors and drawers lock very well so we never had a issue with anything falling out whilst drive (not even during all the twists and turns of the Stelvio Pass!)
Remote working: Supermoon Campers also built a desk that locks into the kitchen cabinets which is perfect for working remotely on my laptop. When I’m not using it, I keep it under the bed.
Loo: I wanted to keep the bulkhead for safety reasons, but Supermoon Campers managed to find a way to create an additional compartment which I have used as the loo storage area.
And finally, there is additional storage in the walls of the rear barn doors as well as above the kitchen which is very useful.
External storage: I added Rhino roofracks and a large 400 litre Thule storage box which housed watersport gear as well as camping chairs, wind breaker, parasol and other fun bits!
Additional points: There are hooks for hanging up towels and wetsuits as well as a towel rail on the sliding door. I also have a lovely cotton curtain for the rear doors which is great when you want a breeze but some privacy.
Security: For any solo female travellers, it’s good to know that the van is lockable from inside the sleeping area with the main key. There is also a Stoplock steering wheel lock.
Reason for selling:
I am VERY sad to be saying good bye to Bob, but I have now bought a fixed abode and won’t be able to have any adventures any time soon as I will be busy plastering and learning more about DIY!
If you would like more photos please email/Whatsapp me, thank you.
The bed was built by the wonderful team at Contour Campers (https://www.contourcampers.com/product/topo-sofa-bed/) in Birch, measuring 180cm long and 123cm wide. The bed transforms very easily from a comfortable sofa into a bed for two and, cleverly, uses the same cushions for space saving! There is excellent storage underneath the bed as well. This can be accessed directly from above or, when the cushions are on, from the sides as well, which is very handy!
