Hello and welcome to my listing for a very unique and totally custom built, 2012 Renault Trafic SWB Campervan.
Firstly, details about the Van itself:
Reg – MT12 KNY
Engine – 2.0 cdti diesel
6 Speed Manual Gearbox for greater fuel efficiency
Top spec van with Electric windows and mirrors, Rear Reversing sensors, CD player with large built in screen with Sat Nav and also Bluetooth connection for hands free phone call
MOT June 2023 and has just had a full service.
Has never put a foot wrong and starts every time. It has surprisingly quick acceleration and is wonderful to drive. Only selling due to the fact I am moving to Portugal.
Internally the van has had a brand new professional, high spec, totally custom conversion carried out. The van has been insulated, ply lined and carpeted. Then a custom made sliding bed, kitchen units and worktop installed, along with privacy windows being fitted to the rear and sliding door. As you can see from the pictures this a very unique and beautifully built conversion to a high specification.
The conversion briefly comprises of:
6 ft long Sofa bed, which slides in two parts to become a double bed at a width of 4ft. (Which is much larger than traditional off the shelf rock and roll beds you see in VWs etc) Two access hatches underneath with plenty of under bed storage.
Double front passenger seat rotates to face the rear, along with a floor mounted table to allow for dining, drinking and card playing.
L shape custom wooden worktop containing top of the range Smev sink and double stove unit.
2 x 60cm wide Kitchen units for food and storage. One of which houses a small Subcold 6 Litre 12v fridge.
Wooden laminate flooring fitted throughout.
LED flush fitting downlights in the ceiling.
240v mains double socket on the wall for charging laptops and cameras etc. The socket also has two USB outlets for charging mobile phones.
A leisure battery accessed from the rear which has been installed by an auto electrician with split charge relay to ensure the main van battery is never drained. It also has a mains hook up socket for use on longer stays in campsites.
So to summarise this is a very rare and unique campervan with low miles and a beautiful light and inviting internal conversion. Why people would spend this sort of money for a VW Transporter with 100k+ miles with an awful dark grey or black interior i’ll never know.
