Meet Kayla the van! She is a new conversion which we are VERY reluctantly selling as we have moved to France and cannot have a UK registered vehicle here.
But hey ho, our loss is your win and this a rare opportunity to get an amazing campervan where everything is pretty much brand new!
We lovingly built the interior over the last year and we are very sad to say goodbye before we could really enjoy our hard work – but we are really happy that you can enjoy many amazing experiences with this gorgeous, unique and comfortable campervan.

About Kayla:
Kayla is a 2012 Ford Transit 125 T350 medium wheel base high top van
She has had 2 previous owners before us.
The MOT is valid until the 18th October 2021
She has 128,000 miles on the clock – and we have only done about 5000 miles since the last MOT.
Originally white, she has been repainted a beautiful blue. The specific colour is “holiday blue” – which seemed appropriate!

Items that failed and have been repaired at last MOT in October 2020:
-Exhaust emissions exceed manufacturer’s specified limit
-Nearside Rear Wheel bearing rough when rotated
-Parking brake efficiency below requirements
-Nearside Registration plate lamp inoperative in the case of multiple lamps or light sources

Electrical system
We designed the electrical system to give the best power options possible. Kayla has x2 115Ah Crown batteries which combined with the 270W Perlight All Black Mono Percium Solar Panel provides ample electrical power storage for any vacation. The batteries and panel are basically brand new and have barely been used – so there is plenty of life left in them! We have a top of the range EPever Upower box, which not only provides the charge controller for the solar panel, but also links the hook up to the electrical system. This means you can charge your leisure batteries whilst using hook up and provides a 1000w inverter for 230V mains circuit when needed. This also has a wifi enabled receiver so you can change the parameters and turn the inverter on and off remotely. In addition, there is a split charge relay which allows power from the engine to charge the leisure batteries (this cuts the connection when the engine is turned off, so you will never accidentally discharge the vans starter battery). The relay is also bi-directional so any excess power from the solar panel will be sent to the starter battery – which keeps it in optimum health.

There are 5 x USB ports for charging your phone/ipad etc, 2 x 12V sockets which you could use for a 12V fridge/freezer, and 3 x 230V mains sockets. The whole system is completely fused, earthed to the van and safe. The batteries are housed in a safely sealed battery box, which means no hydrogen is released into the van during charging phases. The battery box has a hydrogen exhaust and a 12V fan for releasing the hydrogen on hot days. There is a stylish chrome switch board which has a battery voltage meter to show you how much power is in the batteries – so you always know how much power you have left. This display can be switched off during the night so the light does not disturb your sleep. For your added security and in case of theft, the van is also fitted with a hidden GPS tracking device so you can track where the van is from anywhere in the world.

Entertainment system
The amazing speaker set up is powered by the high quality Pioneer stereo in the front cab. It has DAB digital radio and Bluetooth/USB connectivity – making it easy to connect your phone for playing music and also for taking hands free calls with the microphone built into the dashboard. The stereo drives 4 speakers giving you amazing stereo sound regardless of where you stand in the van. The standard front speakers in the doors have been replaced with high quality JL Audio speakers, and in the back of the van there are x2 AUNA 150W speakers.

In addition to playing music the Pioneer stereo also has a built in DVD/CD player and a high quality Pioneer reverse camera with night vision – which makes parking SO EASY! The camera automatically turns on and appears on the display of the stereo when you put the van into reverse gear. The other amazing feature I designed into the van is the in-bed entertainment option. There is an audio line next to the shelf which connects to the stereo as well as a 230V socket next to it. This means you can charge your laptop and enjoy full stereo surround sound whilst enjoying a movie on your laptop in bed – a cinema experience on the go!

Lighting, ventilation, privacy
The lighting options are amazing. You can really create a cosy mood in this van – as well as have clear visibility for cooking and other activities (like board games on rainy days!). For evening mood lighting you can simply use the LED strip fairy lights which run around the ceiling of the van. There is an above the kitchen diffused LED strip light which provides great lighting for cooking. And for those moments when you really need the whole van lit up there are 6 remote controlled spot lights in the ceiling. These are dimmable and can be set to 100%, 50% aand 25% brightness – which means you can create more lighting options than you will ever need!

Storage and furniture
Kayla the van comes with an amazing 1000 pocket sprung mattress which is custom made for the van. It was expensive and is more comfy than our actual mattress at home! We have spent less than 10 nights in the van, so this is basically brand new – especially considering we also have a customised mattress topper for it, which has kept it fresh and adds even more comfort! The van has custom made cushions for the side seats and a pull out table hidden under the bed. This means you can sit inside and have dinner whatever the weather!

The van comes with 2 beautiful solid oak work surfaces. They provide loads of room for preparing meals and are oiled in non-toxic VOC free eco danish oil. In the kitchen area there are several cupboards for all your food storage needs as well as 3 sliding drawers for all your crockery and cooking pots. Around the van there is so much additional storage – there are 5 huge pull out drawers (2 which open into the van & 3 at the back of the van). Either side of the back drawers there are very large open storage spaces for things like fishing rods and umbrellas. There is also a large open storage area above the drivers cab where you can store loads more of your holiday equipment, baskets, and clothes – we have recently lined this with light grey carpet lining material which looks great and means things won’t move around on it when you are driving.
