Meet Nelly, my lovely VW T4 campervan.

Whether you’re looking for a campsite companion or an off grid home – Nelly is ready to take you on an adventure from day one. With a short wheelbase and windows to the rear, she is easy to manoeuvre and a joy to drive. Nelly started life as a plumbers van and was transformed into a beautiful camper in 2012 by a professional horsebox converter – and the quality of the craftmanship shows! She is truly one of a kind and full of character.

This is a sad and reluctant sale due to a change in circumstances – I can no longer travel as much as I’d like and she deserves to be out adventuring!

THE CONVERSION
• Lovely wooden cabinets, new light grey carpeted walls and fresh upholstery – a blank canvas for you to make your own!
• Beautiful solid oak floor with fitting for a dining table (stored behind the passenger seat)
• 6 spotlights with individual switches, a downlight above the side shelf and an extra fixture for a reading lamp
• Kitchen worktop against the bulkhead, double ring hob and sink with electric pump
• Storage for gas tank, water tanks, leisure battery and hidden safe box
• Cupboard storage to the side with open shelf area
• L shaped seating with storage which pulls out into a comfy double bed
• Matching new curtains across the cab with velcro fastening

• 150kw solar panel professionally installed
• Sliding door track and sill have been replaced (a common problem with T4s)
• All 4 wheel arches have been repaired and welded
• 4 new tyres
• New fuel injectors
• New shock absorbers
• New gear selector bush
• New air filter, fuel filter and oil filter
• New timing belt and aux belt
• Rear wiper mechanism replaced
• New water pump
• Replaced carpeting

***Please Note***
• Nelly is 24 years old and naturally has some wear and tear. Internally, there are a few small scratches to the cabinets. Mechanically, the van is sound – but there are some areas of cosmetic body work that may need attention and she has been priced to reflects this. These include some small patches of surface rust and a scrape along the lower drivers side, as shown in the photos.
• No air con in the cab – but the heaters work excellently, perfect for those chilly British mornings
