Selling my pride and joy – but only because my uses have changed and I need something that I can bring messy snowboard and mountain biking gear inside – this is more of a luxury camper. It has been professionally converted by the teahupoo company in England, so you can see a lot of information on their work on their site.
I’ve been getting it serviced every year, and had no mechanical issues apart from having to replace the cooling system last year.
Serviced and MOT’d yesterday. I get 40MPG when motorway driving.
MOST IMPORTANTLY (joke) I have replaced these curtains with a deep grey colour (again made by teahupoo). I think they look much cooler.
An example about what i mean about my use cases not matching the spec of the van – I have never cooked in the van, as my trips are normally based around a mountain resort where I use the pub – so it doesn’t make sense for me to have the kit.
Low mileage, beautiful condition throughout. I work from home so this has only been getting driven on weekend trips away. It is my only vehicle and I wont be getting a normal car again I dont imagine.

The price is something I am willing to discuss. I am looking to replace this with another VW transporter, but with less of a ‘luxury’ conversion – leaving more space for equipment.
I am likely to get a Kombi with storage in the back and a roof tent. Giving me space for bikes and snowboards, and use yeti type boxes for equipment rather than a fridge. So, if you happen to be someone who has something for sale, let’s talk about a trade. I am not interested in anything older or with significantly more miles than what I have. There is a potential of a swap with some money to make up the difference in values (assuming that would be from you to me, if you have a non-converted van, as that is where a lot of the value is in this).

Downstairs rock and roll bed sleeps 2 adults comfortably. We have had 2 adults and 1 child down there. Upstairs (in th EPP top) can have 2 adults, but is better for 1 adult or 2 kids
I am 6’1’’ and have slept upstairs and downstairs comfortably.
Note, there have never been pets in this van.
