2017 VW Caddy Maxi with 126,500 miles, still in daily use so mileage may increase slightly.
Previously owned by a care home and has been regularly maintained throughout its life.
It’s clearly been looked after and is in very good condition for its age and mileage, with clean bodywork and a tidy cab. Mechanically the vehicle is in good condition, with brand-new tyres, recently replaced brakes all round, and the timing belt and water pump have also been replaced.
The van will be sold with a fresh service and 12 months MOT, so it’s ready to go for its new owner.
A simple, well thought-out micro-camper conversion with a clean, Scandinavian-inspired finish. We’ve tried to keep everything functional and make the most of the space without overcomplicating it.
The van has been sound deadened and insulated with closed-cell foam and recycled bottle insulation, with 4-way stretch carpet, vinyl flooring and birch ply furniture throughout.
It has a Contour Campers Topo pull-out sofa/bed, which measures 1.8m long and pulls out to around 1.1m wide. There’s also plenty of useful storage underneath the bed.
We’ve built the birch ply kitchen pod ourselves, which has a stainless steel sink, Dometic 360° 12V tap, 11L fresh water tank and 10L waste tank.
Power comes from a BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 power station with a BLUETTI Charger 1 DC-DC charger, giving up to 560W of charging while driving. There are four dimmable warm-white 12V downlights and USB charging.
It also has an opening side window, roof vent, roof rails, two sliding side doors, magnetic blackout window covers and a blackout cab divider.
Overall it’s a simple, practical little camper with everything you need for weekends away without trying to cram too much into a small van.
