Our great festival van is up for sale! Excellent running order, VW 2.5TDi 5-cylinderruns like a dream and returns around 25-25mpg. When we built her, our emphasis was on living and dining space, as where she goes there are always loos and showers, so the van reflects this – loads of space inside but no shower or loo. Many comments received from visitors along the lines of, “Wow! It’s like an apartment on wheels!”
Double bed with memory foam mattress above the cab, with another pull out double bed which serves as a sofa / seating area when not in use. The dining table affixes to a copper bar when you need it, creating enough space for four to eat around it.
Lots of worktop space for cooking and having the vinyl player on the side, with oodles of storage space beneath and shelving above the worktop.
Glastonbury Stoves wood burner has a top oven, for bread making and keeping food warm when entertaining!
Van has weighed in at 3800KG after conversion, with passengers and all our stuff and is a 3500KG rated Luton. Paperwork is currently in with SVTech to up-plate to take this into account. Price will be reduced to reflect this if you want to carry out the up-plating yourself.
The technical stuff:
LED lighting throughout
2 x 135 amp hour batteries, giving loads of power for everything and we have never run out.
485 watt panel up on top.
Full Victron solar system, professionally installed and running an 1100 watt inverter, so you can run a hoover inside to tidy up after a messy festival!
Sink runs out to external waste outlet.
LOADS of storage, both beneath the bed space and under the pull out bed / seating area.

New clutch / flywheel 8000 miles ago
Full service back in April at MOT time
New radiator
New battery (split charge, keeps it topped up)
New brake master cylinder pump
MOT’d to April 2027.
Extensive use of upcycled wood which gives an amazing ‘log cabin’ effect. Tonnes of storage .
Double bed above cab. Pull out double bed in main living area which is sofa during the day / when not being used.
