We have owned this camper for just over 3 years now and are only selling as unfortunately our situation has changed and we can no longer use her as regularly as we would like.
We have done a number of camping trips with her in the UK and she is great fun both to drive and camp in!

Since owning her we have kept up with maintenance and have had all mechanical work done at SGS Aircooled which is a local specialist for Aircooled VW’s.
We have all the documentation for work that has been done and are happy to send over the details. The van is mechanically sound, and ready to drive away.

Details:

– 4 Seats – 2 up front and 2 on the rock n roll bead with lap belts.
– 3 or 4-birth – 2 on the ¾ rock n roll and 1 or 2 (smaller) people in the pop top.
– Drives great – Starts first try most of the time (Only struggles if its not been driven in a while).
– Electric power steering.
– Bluetooth Stereo.
– Electrics – The van now has a split charge system with a AGM leisure battery. This provides power to a number of USB sockets around the van, lights, the fridge and a 12v cigarette lighter port.
– Pop Top – Can sleep 1 or 2 (smaller) people and provides great head room in the main area of the camper.
– Swivel seat – The passenger seat swivels round to provide extra room and seating.
– Camping stove.
– Pump Sink with waste and clean water tanks below it.
– Table.
– Lots of storage space.
– Bike rack for 2 bikes.
– Tow bar (needs wiring up).

Things to be aware of:

– Speedo – Currently the speed gauge is not working. However, we noticed this recently after doing some electrical work for the stereo, so we believe this to be a minor electrical fix.
– Rust – All these vans have some rust, and it is mainly in the usual areas (around the petrol cap etc).
However the bottom of the sliding door also has some that you may want to see to. We have shared photos of this.
– Pop top canvas has a couple of small holes in well worn areas that need patching/fixing.
– The roof lining – The previous owner glued a felt lining on top of the original lining. We decided to remove this as we preferred the original. However there are stains and marks from the glue. We have been told there are ways to remove this, we have just not found the time to get this sorted yet.

The van has recently had an MOT on 08/07/2022.
