We are the 3rd owner since new. It is registered as a panel van. Drives well we use it as our only vehicle and have found it to be 100% reliable we have maintained and cared for it. The Camper is a 5 gear 102 1.9tdi for a van this is economical to drive especially as our conversion is lightweight.
12 Months of mot and serviced, Recent cam belt, brakes pads and discs all round replaced at the same time and recent exhaust. The van’s suspension was upgraded to T30 spec when we purchased it. The van isn’t lower and doesn’t have alloys as we wanted it for exploring lanes camping and enjoying the great outdoors.
Our thinking with this conversion was to keep it simple and light but be extremely comfortable.

The van is insulated and carpet lined plywood panels.
The floor is hardwearing marmoleum.
We wanted a more simple camping conversion to keep it lightweight for daily use. If needed the furniture can be unbolted to use the van as a van if needed between trips.
2 adults can sleep in the Hilo Roof pop up (which is the most spacious roof you can get). The lower bed layout is a full width bed allowing a further 2 adults to sleep in comfort. A full width bed makes a massive difference for a good night’s sleep.
