VWT5 Pop Roof Camper - Partial Conversion but with the big jobs done and lots of potential!

Camper converted T5 with skyline pop roof. Partially converted camper yet with all major works completed making it ready for weekends away. Plenty of scope for the new owners to make improvements and add further features.

A highly reliable vehicle used as a daily driver; for weekend and longer camping trips. Mechanically sound with only brake pads & discs needing replacement in the past 4 years.

Steel wheels with all-terrain tyres ready for any campsite or field. Black steel side bars for side/skirt protection, useful on narrow roads and campsites. Rear parking sensors. Updated T6 style front and rear bumpers and lights. Skyline pop roof fitted by skyline at their factory, with teal canvas and 3 windows, both sides and front. Windows fitted on rear barn doors, sliding side door and driver side panel bringing lots of light into the back. Rear spoiler. Roof rails fitted to pop roof again by skyline when the pop roof was fitted, enabling extra carrying capacity and roof protection should you misjudge a car park ceiling or entry barrier. Awning rail fitted. Large exterior awning included, made by stiches and steel, all poles and tiedowns included.

Front seat covers on driver’s seat and front bench. Cabin floor mats. Rear floor and walls insulated & sound deadened. Walls & roof covered in dark grey stretch carpet. Oak flooring with steel tie downs and custom plywood cabinetry on driver’s side. The cabinetry uses magnetic child locks to hold all doors shut during travel and soft close hinges. The cabinet fronts feature forest green natural linoleum for easy cleaning. The cabinets also feature aluminium checkerboard kick plates to prevent scuffs and damage. Elm hardwood wayney edge worktop with inbuilt sink. Matching elm sink cover to maximise worktop space. The sink is not plumbed in but ready if next owner requires. The pop roof contains a bed platform with memory foam mattress. The bed platform also lifts and folds to allow standing height for most of the interior space. The pop roof also has a sliding access hatch above the cabin to improve wind noise and keep a neat aesthetic when travelling.

Electrical control panel, 12v task light, consumer unit & leisure battery fitted but not wired up. The next owner can choose to continue this electrical install to meet their requirements. The only other areas of note are minor trim yet to be added to floor edges at side and rear entrances, and passenger side wheel arch interior not boxed in (but has been sound deadened) both are due to further bench seating furniture planned for passenger side but not undertaken. The next owning can develop this side of the van to suit their needs.
