Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

This is a 2014 Iveco Daily MWB with a 2.3L diesel engine, 6-speed manual gearbox, and around 102,000 miles on the clock. It’s a solid, reliable van with plenty of power and surprisingly decent MPG for its size – around 28–32 mpg, depending on how you drive it. The engine runs great and hasn’t missed a beat during our 10-month trip across Europe.

Bodywork is in good overall condition for the age – a few scuffs and marks here and there from normal use, but nothing major. The chassis is clean and solid underneath.

It has a full 12-month MOT (expires April 2026) with some advisories (HN64 XLV). Before we bought it in 2023, it was a crew welfare vehicle for a utility company, so it was regularly maintained, though service records weren’t passed on. Since we’ve owned it, it’s had two full services, plus a new handbrake cable recently fitted, and it had a new radiator fitted last year. We fit 4 x Michelin Crossclimates at the beginning of our trip, and they have plenty of tread left.

No mechanical issues to report – it’s been well looked after, drives well, and has never let us down.

Conversion Description

We’re parting ways with our beloved Iveco Daily campervan – our home for the past year as we travelled around Europe on the trip of a lifetime. She’s solid, capable, and ready for her next chapter with a new owner.

The Build:
Originally a crew welfare van, she was fully stripped, cleaned, and converted – 80% professionally, 20% DIY – with a focus on comfort, reliability, and simplicity (which makes all the difference when adventuring off-grid!).

Insulation & Ventilation:
Fully insulated with 20mm and 50mm Celotex + sound deadening
Insulated window covers and cab curtain
MaxxFan roof vent (with in/out airflow)
Privacy-tinted windows + bug nets
Lavaner Pro 2Kw heater (underbed partition removes to allow whole van to ventilate & heat)

We travelled through the summer in the Balkans, and across mountains in winter and always had a comfy night’s sleep!

Electrics (Professionally Installed by Batteries & Solar):
3 x 140W Victron Solar Panels (420W total)
Victron 2000W Multiplus Inverter/Charger
Victron 100/30 MPPT Solar Charge Controller
Victron DC-DC Charger
Victron 500A SmartShunt
Massive 280Ah Fogstar Lithium Battery (only 36 cycles)

Water & Gas:
2 x 25L internal fresh water tanks with 12V tap + sink
40L underslung grey waste tank
Vented gas locker with hose with Dometic 2-Burner Stove

We chose to keep the water system simple without integrated tanks so we werent limited to hoses and taps. Having portable fresh water tanks allowed us to take advantage of numerous springs and fountains.

Interior:
Professionally built birch ply cabinetry by Glaswolf Concepts (North Devon)
Designed with storage for surfboards and outdoor gear in mind
12V Fridge – Brand New, never used!
Comfy bed platform (175cm x 135cm)
Loads of drawers, cupboards, and overhead storage
Lagun mount/leg converts seating to table

The van design was built around the concept of being able to store lots of surfboards, we were able to fit 8 boards up to 6’5 in length in our novel set-up. We have a million-and-one hobbies, so HUGE storage capacity was key. Partition boards between garage and living area are removable if you need to pack longer kit as well!

Mechanical:
Mechanically sound – just completed a 10-month Euro trip without issue
Recent new handbrake cable
Full MOT (Apr) with no majors

We’ve spent over £25,000 getting her to where she is now, if you’ve got an offer, we’d love to hear it!

Anything we’ve forgotten, just ask! We’re happy to answer any questions and/or provide more photos or videos on request.
