Privacy glass window on the sliding door complete with blackout blinds.
There is also a blackout blind which separates the cab from the living space.
fully Insulated with 25mm solid board insulation in floor and ceiling and 75mm soft wool insulation in all other areas. keeps the van cool in summer and toasty in winter.
full vapour barrier covering all insulated areas.
remote controlled Roof fan with option to extract when cooking or push air in. Also has rain sensor to automatically close when raining, also in the back above the bed it has a opening roof vent to allow for ventilation over the bed, this also allows natural light in during the day.
Living area:
Comfortable two seater sofa made with furniture webbing for a real sofa feel!
A double USB socket sits by the sofa to charge phones etc. The sofa has storage underneath that also houses the 12v diesel heater.
Above the sofa are two overhead cupboards for storage
Adjacent to the sofa is a fully adjustable Lagun style table which can serve as a dining table or a workspace when the passenger swivel seat is turned around. (Photos of this to follow)
The swivel seat allows the space to really open up.
Kitchen Area:
A large sink with an adjustable Tap with three spray settings and a flexible head. underneath the sink is a double cupboard with loads of storage space for food or whatever you want!
Next to this is a three drawer unit including a large pan drawer.
sitting above another large cupboard is a twin burner gas hob with an electric ignition.
Above the kitchen and the bed are four more overhead cupboards for even more storage.
Under the full size bed sits a 67 Litre domestic fridge with ice box powered by the automatically switched inverter. This is a very efficient and quiet method. we have tried all different types of fridge set ups in our vans over the years and this is by far our favourite.
Bedroom:
full size king size bed on real bed slats for extra comfort!
Two reading lights above each side of bed each with its own light switch.
Double USB point each side of the bed to make sure everyones tech is charged!
super cozy space!
Bathroom:
Large shower room with hot water saving shower.
neat little Soap holder
LED downlight above the shower head.
A heating vent has been plumbed in to the shower room to allow this space to become a drying room!

Electrics and water systems:
Fully off grid with a 420 watt Solar panel with mppt charge controller
feeding a 100ah Ecoworthy Lithium Battery
This is also charged by the vans alternator via a rengogy DC-DC charger.
All 12v circuits are individually fused.
12v system powers the lights, fridge, usb points, water pump, hob ignition, diesel heater, water heater ignition.
240v mains hookup via a socket outside of the van. This feeds two sockets, one in the garage area and one by the sofa in the living area. All via a RCD protected fuse board located in the garage.
The 12v diesel heater is fed from the vans main fuel tank so no worries about filling up separate tanks.
also a brand new Renogy pure sinewave inverter which also supplies all the 240v sockets in the van.
when connected to mains hook up the sockets automatically switch from the inverter to the mains supply.
Also located in the garage area is a 70L fresh water tank which protects it from freezing. It features a remote level gauge so you can check your water level from your kitchen.
This gauge also lets you know when the 50 litre underslung Grey waste water tank is getting full.
Next to the fresh water tank sits a carver 10 Litre gas and mains hookup water heater, works very well and gets water steaming hot in about 15 minutes!
The garage area has waterproof flooring as well as LED lighting.
The fully vented and sealed gas locker also sits in the garage. This houses a large 13kg gas tank (nearly full, only used for testing). This is readily available size of gas tank. we decided to build the gas locker bigger to future-proof it as the smaller size gas tanks seem to be getting harder to find. This also allows you to be off grid for longer.
