I have owned the van around two and a half years. I bought it when I lived in Scotland and it suited me well when living there and getting into the highlands, but not so much now I have relocated to London.
Over these years I have replaced tyres, car battery and made any substantive repairs needed. The engine is mechanically sound and I am told by prior owners it was replaced at around 75k miles.
I’ve had all advisories taken care of in the past two years, exception being this year where I discussed with mechanic that a dim rear reg light and minor oil leak did not warrant spending at this time and to monitor. At the last MOT, I took care of some rust on the frame under the driver and passenger doors and had the underside vulcanised to protect in future. There is some rust on the front wheel arches and minor discolouration on the wheels, to be expected of an older van.
