With his extra storage you can store plenty of food and keep the drinks cool in the refrigerator.

Horace has one 140ah battery fitted in the garage and this is charged 3 ways: using the engine whilst driving, the 160 watt solar panel on the roof and a mains battery charger whilst on hook-up. The electrical system is maintenance free and looks after itself. This set up enables Horace to be used off-grid if you don’t fancy staying on a campsite.

In the rear there is a 70 litre water tank that provides cold water to the kitchen tap and feeds the outside shower. This is filled using an internal fill point next to the bed. Wastewater is collected in a 20 litre container under the sink and requires emptying when full. Horace can be provided with a portable toilet that fits under the bench seat.

Heating: Horace is fully insulated but if used in the winter, there is a 2KW diesel heater installed for your comfort. This is easy to use and runs from the vehicle fuel tank.

Rented the camper van ‘Horace’ for a weeks trip to Scotland. Van was great, very comfortable and had everything we needed for the trip. The option to find a pitch and have direct electric was nice after a few days of off the grid living. Owners were very helpful if we had any questions or problems. Can’t recommend enough.

What an amazing trip!!! Couldn’t recommend Horace enough, we went up to Scotland and found wild camping spots. This was our first time in a camper but Adam took his time to explain anything we needed and reassured us we could text/ring anytime if we had any questions or needed guidance. Great trip and we would definitely go again.
