About the Campervan

Description of Beds: A large fold out bed measuring 190cm long x 170cm wide, so larger than a king size and plenty big enough 3.

Description of Seating:In the cab there is the driver's seat and a double seat all with the normal 3 point seatbelts. In the rear there are 2 bench seats when the bed is away and the table is up. Ample space for 4 people to sit and eat dinner.

Description of Electrical Setup: The electrical set-up is designed to be able to go off-grid for as long as you like, there are 2x6v batteries wired in series to make a 180ah 12v battery. A large solar panel which will keep you charged up during the day keeping the beers cold and the laptops charged. There is a 12v usb socket by the bed as well as a uk 230v socket supplied via a victron 500w inverter.

About the area: The area of Camborne, Cornwall is a perfectly central location to start your trip. 15 Minutes from Truro, 10 minutes from Gwithian, 20 minutes from Marazine, 25 minutes from Falmouth, 35 minutes from Bodmin moor, the choices are endless or you could even hear further a field.

Parking: The campervan is parked on my driveway where there is a possibility to leave your car at your own risk, but we would prefer to meet you from the train station or find an alternative parking, then we can help you with pick-ups, drop-offs etc.

Cooking Equipment: For cooking there is a 2 burner gas hob inside. We will supply a saucepan | frying pan | kettle | wooden spoon | utensils | plates | cutlery | tin opener and other necessities.

Water and Sanitation: There is a 70l Fresh water tank on board which supplies cold water only to the kitchen tap.

We will include an option for a toilet tucked below the bed in the main living space of the van but would recommend campsites or public toilets.

The grey water is stored in a tank below the van which also holds 70 liters of water.

Audio Equipment: The audio equipment included is the standard volkswagen head unit in the cab. We tend to use a bluetooth speaker in the back of the van when we go away.

Type of Heating: There is a diesel heater on board which works brilliantly keeping the van nice and toasty on those cold winter evenings. It can also be operated via a remote control which is perfect when you wake up and want to turn it on to take the chill off before you leave the comfort of the duvet.

Conversion Story: The van was converted by myself. My partner and I converted a Luton previously and drove to Dhakla in the western Sahara. Since being back in the UK we have moved to Cornwall and started converting and renting out campervans.

We bought her after a long and careful hunt and she was converted in 2020. Her units are built in MDF with shaker style cabinet doors, with a unique colour-scheme or blush white, Paynes grey and white ceiling. As well as modern luxuries such as a diesel heater.
