It offers an immersive woodland camping experience away from crowded commercial sites, with spacious, secluded pitches nestled among trees, each equipped with its own fire pit for evenings under the stars. The site operates with a largely “off-grid” ethos, though mains water was connected in 2025, and portable toilets are provided on site. Showers are available nearby at the local pub across the road. Pitches are well spaced to maintain privacy, and dogs and hammocks are welcome. Income from bookings supports ongoing woodland management in partnership with the National Forest and Forestry Commission, helping protect habitats for future generations.
