Low Greenside Farm Campsite is a peaceful, family‑run campsite tucked away at the foot of the Howgill Fells in Cumbria’s Upper Eden Valley — an area also known as the Westmorland Dales. It’s all about “camping as it used to be”: generous grassy pitches are spread around a big field’s edge, each with its own firepit, offering space, solitude, and lovely countryside views.
You’ve got flexible accommodation — traditional tent pitches, 3 camper‑van hard‑standing spots, or, for a touch of comfort, a cosy bell tent or beautiful yurt in their “glamping meadow.” The facilities are top notch: private shower rooms, loos, kitchen and washing‑up areas; EV charging recently added; secure phone‑charging lockers, fridge/freezer access and free firewood kindling.
A big draw is the surrounding natural landscape — from your tent you can walk straight onto fells or explore nearby nature reserves, beautiful meadows, and historic trails. The campsite also offers a “Nine Great Walks” guide to help you make the most of the local paths. Within 10 minutes on foot there are two friendly village pubs by the river in Ravenstonedale — perfect after a day’s hiking.
