Dave and Diane are still on site but are starting to hand over some of the day to day running to our on site wardens Michelle and Neil members of the site team. We are trying to ‘retire’ a little more as that was our reason for moving to the islands, as we enter our 6th season we are trying harder to do just that. However we still want the site to be a welcoming place with a family run ethos!
Diane, worked for many years in the travel business before retiring and now her time is often taken up designing and making incredible textile art pieces. She’s also very active in the community with textile groups and enjoys spreading the crafting word, if you share that then feel free to chat with her during your stay.
Dave, worked for 40 years in the Automotive Manufacturing sector which has given him a broad skill set. His hobby is working with wood making simple but lovely pieces ranging from chopping boards to benches and table using materials that might have been otherwise thrown away.
Rosanne (Rosie) studied Marine Science for her MSc and is interested in all things wildlife. She now works on the Lady Anne Wildlife Tours boat, a great trip out whilst your here on the islands. Sometimes she’s on site and always happy to chat wildlife with visitors which of course she can do if you take a day out on the Lady Anne.
