Wookey Farm is a family-run, low-impact campsite set on a working dairy goat farm near the historic city of Wells and the famous Wookey Hole Caves in Somerset. The site offers two camping fields: one with marked, spacious pitches including electrical hook-ups, picnic tables, individual recycling bins, and campfire spots, and another open meadow field where you can choose your own space beside the babbling River Axe with rope swings and a communal fire area. Both areas provide mains cold water, compost toilets, and dish-washing facilities, but there are no showers onsite. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and there’s an electric car charging point at the farm entrance. Campers can enjoy interacting with goats and other farm animals, explore nearby pubs, a village shop/café, and easy access to local attractions like Wookey Hole Caves and Wells Cathedral. The atmosphere is relaxed, nature-focused, and ideal for families and outdoor lovers.
