Recently refurbished to high standard and converted to UK specification
I imported the Airstream from the USA in 2004, and my wife and 2 daughters and I have had many happy holidays in it
Three years ago, it was totally refurbished. It was stripped down to the chassis, removing the whole interior, leaving only the aluminium shell. We then reconfigured the layout to keep it as close to the original as possible but to optimise further the use of space and create a permanent bed at the rear. But still being able to use the front seating area for a extra double bed if needed .It has a new Truma Combi boiler 4a system for heating and hot water.It is highly efficient and can be operated by Wifi . You can put it on at the beach, so it is lovely and warm when you get back to the Airstream!
There is a new RM850 106 litre Domestic Fridge/freezer that is gas, electricity and battery operated
All gas fittings, electrical wiring and plumbing have been replaced
There is a dead lock on the door and a tracker and alarm
There is a full-length blue Zip Dee awning.
The permanent double bed is 140 cm x 200 cm. It can be lifted on its hydraulic arms, and beneath it there is the same dimension storage space, which is 60 cm in depth and divided in half. The interior space is used for clothing, extra bedding .
The main table extends to double its size if required, and folds down to create another double bed 140cm x 200 cm
