Ford 302 V8 Engine, with LPG and Petrol
MPG on LPG – (100 Litre LPG tank, manages 260-290 miles per tank)
MPG on Petrol – 12-13
-Built in LPG tank for fridge, hob, water heater and propane heater
-Van is wired for 2 x leisure batteries (one battery included)
-240volt plug in input, lead included.
-Built in 80ltr water tank with pump.
-Both front seats swivel around.
-New slat bed built in 2020, with custom made cusions to suit.
-Rear seat belts
-Cassette chemical toilet
-Seperate electric fan heater, which can be used when hooked up to 110v. Works really well in the winter. Heats the van up very quickly.
-Fridge works really well on gas and when connected to 110v. 12v not recomended whilst stationary. However, works well when travelling to destination to keep things cold.
-Sony CD Bluetooth Stereo with good speakers, front and rear.
-Reverse camera and blindspot camera.
Note there are a few rust spots on the body work.
-Front bonnet needs to be repainted.
-There is signs of rust above front window on the RH side.
-There is also signs of rust on the rear of the vehicle by rear bumper.
-None of the above is structual and just cosmetic.
The van has had extensive rust removed from the front of the vehicle. Reciepts to outline what was done.
Everyhting works well, apart from the following which just needs a quick fix:
– Water heater needs a seal replaced
– Propane Gas heater keeps blowing a fuse when switched on
– Passenger electric window mechanism needs replacing as it sticks.
Also included in the price:
-Vango Kela Awning, with driveaway kit – Note a zip in the awning needs to be fixed. But does not affect the awning being exposed to the elements when connected to the van.
-2 x Solar panels included with solar control panel
-Large grey water container
-BBQ/Fire pit
-2 x wheel ramps for un-level ground
Most instruction manuals included along with other documents from when it was imported from the US.
This van is over 30 years of age, and will require the odd bit of maintenance. I have owned the van for nearly 7 years and have never had a major problem with it. It requires a buyer who can see its character and see how unique it is compared to other camper vans. It certainly turns heads with its sound and looks.
It is a very reluctant sale, but due to life changes and circumstances I have to say good bye. And I hope the next person/family who purchases this amazing vehicle will have just as much fun as we did.
Campervan was converted in the US I am not aware of who converted it.
